Could have been better. Could have been worse. Overnight parking allowed. Unload doesn't start until noon on Sundays. What has been said about cash lumpers is true. That proved to be the biggest pain for me as even an ATM a few miles down the road was useless. My company deals with those annoying EFS checks. The closest place to cash one of those was half an hour away. They did let me leave after I was unloaded to go handle that though and come back. However I have a major issue with the cash lumper. For safety reasons, I never carry cash. People around there likely know that it is a cash only lumper and therefore drivers that go there are potential targets. Beyond that, my experience wasn't too bad and the people were friendly.
This would be a good place to get unloaded at but they only take cash. owner has that mentality of I'm a big business owner and I will treat a driver anyway I want to cuz I'm mr. Billy badass well here's a news flash for you Billy badass this is 2016 not 1950 a lot of companies have gotten away from taking cash for lumper fees here take Comcheck how to take a credit card or debit card and if you train your employees the proper way he wouldn't have had a problem taking contacts but obviously your employees are morons just like the owner of the company still invest in your company and get a credit card machine how do you know how much money to bring with you when you come to this s******* when you ain't never been here he needs time alone before he's going to change so how much money are you supposed to carry with you really come on
From the outside this place looks like a hole in the wall dump. I've driven by it a hundred times and never gone in until today, and they've got a pretty nice setup. They have great deals on chicken, fish, pork, and beef. They sell cheeses, eggs and spices as well. Check it out sometime, buy lunch or chicken in bulk boxes.
If I could give a lower star I would likely do so. During my seven minute visit to Waybest Chicken I requested a price on a bag of chicken. Before I entered there seemed to be an issue between another customer and the two workers by the door ( not the young lady working the deli counter). One was a female and the other a male (I think he was either the owner or the manager), the male began reprimanding his female coworker for no aparent reason to the point where it became so uncomfortable that I chose to leave the store. Remember everyone deserves respect and even when someone is properly and justifiably reprimanded, this should not happen in front of customers or even other coworkers.
NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN ! Nobody seems to know what is going on been waiting 5 hours for a dock to pull off 1 stinking pallet..WTH! I've paid their extortion cash after hunting for 3 different ATMs before finding one that works.THE RUDE DECREPIT OLD HAG IN THE OFFICE NEEDS TO GET LAID.
I personally was very disappointed in the store.
We went into the store looking for about a 3 pound whole chicken.
There were only Cornish game hens in the freezer.we did purchase two.
However if you are planning a party you can buy lots of chicken wings in bulk. They also had some kind of beef roast and Jamaican meat pies.
Since we shop just for two we will not return.
I drive an 18 wheeler, and made a delivery there. Friendly and they were also quick to unload my trailer.
