Came in for the lunch rush and ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger but the Bacon was forgotten as you can see in the photo. The Bourbon sauce was tangy and creamy, complimented the burger well with the Onion Rings. Had a share of the Chili Cheese Tots and didn't quite like the taste of the chili it was a little on the sweet side for me but some people like that. There's no fries or tots or drinks even included with the burgers so be prepared to pay extra for that to have a full complete meal.
Overall not a bad experience even if the burger was missing toppings. A little far from downtown Eugene but right off the Beltline freeway so just a quick drive from downtown if your there.
This place was delicious. We ordered their bacon bourbon burgers and they were phenomenal. Definitely worth the price. The sauce has a strongly flavored kick to it, like a stone ground mustard. Burger patties were cooked perfectly, well without being well done, and I was impressed. We LOVED the cheese curds. The onion rings were crispy, but I didn't like the flavor of the batter much, but my friend did. Matter of opinion. The only downside is the price (5 Guys level of cost, but the food is definitely better here.) It's worth it though!
This was my first time trying Wayback Burgers. I really enjoy the found. The staff was friendly and cooperative. Food was fairly inexpensive but a little pricey too. The tots were amazing. My burger was good. Great place to try.
Excellent burgers and excellent service. We're not from that area and had never heard of this place before but were starving. The menu board was easy to read and understand and the staff were welcoming and patient as we made our decisions. The restaurant was clean and inviting. Cleanliness is definitely a focus and it shows. Quality is also a focus and it shows. We were more than pleased with our burgers and left happily satisfying our hunger. The music playing was upbeat and was a nice background for our lunch. You know how sometimes when you get your food and you know it's going to be "that good" and you kind of do a happy dance in your seat and then it is "that good" and you do a little happy dance, again, as you eat .. well this place is "that good" and the music they play is the soundtrack.

Super yummy burgers and fries. We stopped on a whim and so glad we did. Very very good.
Great! We had never been here before and we liked it so much came twice the same week. Service, food, wait time were all good. We definitely be back when wanting burgers!
I can't rate the service or atmosphere because I ordered through DoorDash. This rating is specifically based around the food. I ordered the the Double Bacon Burger, onion rings and a chocolate shake, my daughter got the Bourbon Bacon Burger, onion rings and a brownie shake.
My burger was so soaked in mustard it soaked into the wrapper during the 9 minute trip from the restaurant to my house and when I pulled it out of the bag the burger wrapper was actually tearing into bits and leaking out into the bag. I figured okay, things happen, no big deal..... Except when I tried the burger it dropped mustard the entire way through, I like mustard, but this was heartburn inducing three to four tablespoons worth of mustard, one sad pickle and 5 little onion squares. If the burger did have any seasoning, it was impossible to tell, all I tasted was mustard and I gave up halfway through. The onion rings were weird, flat, greasy disks with no flavor to speak of and the shake tastes like a half cup of Hershey's syrup.... That over sweet, artificial chocolate flavor. That is just my order.
My daughter's burger was really under cooked and really dry, she took two bites and was done. She likes the shake okay but says it is to sweet, that says a lot coming from a 12 year old that enjoys sweets. She wore one onion ring as a bracelet briefly because that was about all they were good for, so I can thank Wayback Burgers for the slight laugh of the biggest onion ring we've seen.
This was not food worth paying $55 for (before tipping the driver), I could have ordered from McDonalds and received higher quality. I tried Wayback because I've heard from many it is "So Good", it was even a topic of conversation at work about the great quality of the food. I was just disappointed. Perhaps I will be brave and try the cheapest burger I can from there in the future to see if it is just an off day today.... They do happen, but for now, my desire for a nice burger shake and onion rings has been a big let down and I feel a little ripped off.
The only Pros: The meat seemed fresh (a little to fresh in the case of my daughter's burger), the food was hot when it arrived, and the whipped cream was good.
The best burgers I have had in a while! Great shakes and great food. Friendly staff and quick. Recommend 100% if you are looking for a great burger!
