i i’mm not a complainer, literally ever but everything was so bad. i ordered ahead online for my dinner when i went on break, and i know it’s just a gas station but like it was dead and they took 20 minutes on a sandwich melt and it wasn’t even what i asked for when i got it ???? i ended up taking off what i didn’t like and eating the leftover burnt ham and burnt crossoint. also an added bonus, the cheese was burnt and it peeled off like hard plastic. didn’t eat, yummy cancer probably. love the coffee tho ????????
I am a frequent visitor at WAWA on Mason. I normally stop in on my way to work to get coffee and/or breakfast. I ordered my food from the app and got there a little after the puck up time stated it would be available. The Hispanic lady making the food was ignoring me when I kept calling, "excuse me...ma'am." I finally went to the cashier and asked to speak with a manager because my food wasn't ready. Turns out my food WAS ready. The manager said that she gave it to the lady smh. I explained her behavior and asked for a refund, as the food was no longer able to be located. I grabbed a quick bite and attempted to pay for that, but was told to keep it on the house. I did get my refund, and the manager went to speak with the lady. This is not the first time I've experienced rude behavior from her. My choice WAWA is Ridgewood or ISB.
My wife and I order 2 hoagies, an iced coffee and a frozen cappuccino.
Edmel, the boss, was holding the food assembly line down, on his own. He got our food out in less than 5 minutes. He had it neatly wrapped and clearly and concisely called our number out.
The drinks came out with just as much swiftness as our food. I sadly forgot to ask the lady's name, so I can not give her the accolades she deserves.
I heard a conversation between other employees where one clearly raised the volume of the conversation and said "I'm not going to help ~~I didn't hear whether the employee said him or them~~ because there will be times when you're on your own and you won't have anyone to come hold your hand when it's busy," before the conversation went to a lower volume.
I know Edmel heard that, and I don't care what situation is going on behind the scenes, that toxic nonsensical idea of "I'm going to let a worker who is asking for help be ignored, so I can teach them a lesson," has no place in any workplace in the year 2024.
It's Wawa who doesn't love it.
Stopped for gas, bathroom & a snack. Gas prices were average. Bathroom could use some attention but they we're really busy so that may be why. Cashier was very friendly and helpful. I ordered a 16 oz salted caramel iced coffee with whipped cream for a pick me up. Only $2. Much less than Starbucks and it was very tasty.
It’s been a couple nights since I was here, but I wanted to share my experience. Stopped here late at night to use the restroom and grab some food. Restroom was nice. Grabbed a slider, a sub and a drink. The sub was pretty good. Typical of WaWa subs. I was thinking the grilled chicken would be warm, but it wasn’t. It still tasted good though. My complaint comes on the sliders. I got the turkey and swiss sliders which have been really good at other WaWa’s. When I opened the container to add Mayo to the sandwich, I was really disappointed at the amount of meat this one used. For $5, this was unacceptable. Took it back. Asked them to add a slice of Turkey on to it, but the employee told me to just grab another one. That one was better. Still lacking, but there weren’t any more and I didn’t want to complain more. The second sandwich was acceptable anyways which is why I gave them a satisfactory rating. The pictures are of the first sandwich that I returned.
I went to this gas station my past experience have great they make the most delicious hoagie's
Decent deals on drinks, always clean and a good place to stop for a quick bite.
