With a beautiful view from the north shore of Lake Winnebego, this very large complex combines sports bar, wedding hall, and restaurant, and could be a destination restaurant were it not for rather bland food and the non-cosy dining area. It is best used for reunions of 200+ people, which it could easily handle. The service was good and prompt, and maintenance and cleanliness excellent.
It is a beautiful facility and the staff is very friendly. I liked that there are notifications on the menue for vegetarian, gluten free, and allergy risk. If you are gluten free I was notified that the fryer oil is not different so there is a chance of contamination. The service was just a bit slow, bit we had a descent sized group. Definitely not a complaint. Just a mention. The food was great. We had a variety of things and appetizers. Everyone was very pleased. The drunks and the variety was also great. Lots of mixed drink and beer options. I think it would be a great place for banquets and events too. It was a beautiful day and the patio with the lake view just added to the awesome experience. If you've never been, I recommend checking it out!
Attended mothers day brunch. Food was not that good. Food was dry tasteless. I tried shrimp salmon and cod did not like cod fishy taste. Food quality not up to my standards. Fries were ok. Bacon thin greasy not good. Beef bits dry. Prime rib was undercooked bloody. I won't eat here ever again. Beach front nice bar nice. Imagine spending 160.00 for garbage well the food this day was all garbage.
Excellent all the way around. Heather, our waitress, was awesome. She was incredibly helpful and kind. She went above and beyond to make our visit a pleasant one.
The food was excellent. My daughter thinks of herself as a "French Fry Connoisseur" and she said they have some of the best fries that she's had in a while.
I had the Sicilian Chicken Sandwich, and of my gosh, it was absolutely amazing. Such a great flavor combination. So delicious!
The atmosphere is awesome. Being right by the water is great, and they have an amazing facility. Lots of space, indoor and outdoor bar, and great green space.
Our first time here in a couple years. The renovation is very nice, adding to the atmosphere.
I was rather disappointed in the food and the prices. While the pizza was good I was stunned at the cost of each ingredient beyond the one included. I also ordered French Onion soup, unfortunately it was served at room temperature and was extremely salty. I appreciated the fact that when I sent it back, they adjusted the bill.
I will likely give them another try but it may be a while.
We went with a group of 8 last night for dinner. It was a terrible experience on all levels. We sat at the bar thinking we would get better service but that was not the case. Our bartender took our drink order and accidentally gave our friend 2 beers. When he tried to let her know she argued with him and tried to say it wasn’t her that it must have been the other bartender. We all saw her give the same beer twice and he was just trying to be nice and she continued to argue that she didn’t do it.It was one of the most bizarre situations I have ever witnessed. The same bartender took our food order. Six of us ordered food at the same time but only two of us got our food in a timely manner. The other four had to wait an hour longer than us to get their food. They lied and said it was the kitchen’s fault because they were so slammed but we know it was because she never entered their food order because she never started them a tab. The food was cold, tasteless and definitely not worth the wait. This was not even the worst part. We ordered pitchers of Busch Light and we were disgusted to find out they cost $21.50 per pitcher. That is insane. Our drinks cost double our food. I wish we would have listened to the several people that told us not to bother as it would not be worth it. We will never go back.
The facility is really nice and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. They have 4 bars. Live music and a banquet room. Singo bingo on Wednesday nights. Muti tv mounted everywhere to get a little bit of everything. They have a smaller area for gambling right by the Atm.They also have a play area outside for the kiddos by a beautiful view by the water.I liked that there are notifications on the menu for vegetarian, gluten-free, and sea food allergy risk. The food was great. But it's a little pricey but worth it for the portion size. So, no complaints. I got the sea food pasta, very happy with portion size and the jumbo shrimp. It was delicious.
We were visiting for a banquet. It was a homestyle meal and was good. The facilities are very nice and the location is beautiful.
Our banquet server was not pleasant at all. Guests at our table greeted her when she brought the first few plates and she ignored them. When we asked for more of anything she refused to bring us any more if there was a tiny bit left on the original dish. Wouldn’t give us fresh gravy because there were a few drops left in the old one which had gone cold by the time we got more food. Six of us at the table and only one plate of chicken, potatoes, stuffing, corn, and gravy. By the time we got anything else dinner was over.
Three stars for service because the staff in the upper bar area were friendly and accommodating.
