Moving to a new area often comes with its own set of challenges, and for someone who had the same barber for over a decade in Tampa, Florida, finding a new go-to for haircuts topped my list of anxieties. I took a leap of faith with Nesty, and it paid off – until I made a critical mistake.
In a bind, I needed a last-minute haircut, and Nesty wasn't available. Ignoring my instincts, I turned to another barber, resulting in a disastrous haircut. My once-prized slick back with a skin fade and tapered sideburns was left in shambles. I faced the grim possibility of starting from scratch, which meant potentially shaving my head.
But then, Nesty, my hair savior, stepped in. I reached out in desperation and thankfully secured an 8 am appointment the next day. Walking into his shop felt like entering a sanctuary of hope. Nesty took one look at the damage and, with the calm of a seasoned professional, reassured me that all was not lost.

I decided after a few years of debating back and forth to do a big chop. I made an appointment with Nesty after being recommended to him by one of my friends that frequent the shop. I had over 2 feet of hair, and decided it was time to go with a fade and a few inches on top.
I didn’t want to be treated like a number at an unnamed “salon”. I showed up to Wavelengths and the atmosphere was great. Everyone was open and joking around and having fun. Even the clients were apart of the main conversations of the shop. They really made you feel at home.
Nesty was great, we talked about what I wanted and we talked through the options and styles. Once he started the cut, he made sure I remained comfortable by continuing conversation. We talked about care afterwards and how to style it and take care of it.
I would highly recommend this studio to everyone. Everyone is open to what you want and you don’t feel judged for wanting to do something sporadic with your hair.
This establishment is very welcoming, cozy, and so very kid friendly! Just extraordinary! The service my son received from Mr. Lee was exceptional! Awesome team of unique characters here! I will definitely be returning!
Wavelengths has the most positive energy ever! Corrigan has amazing skills and all the stylist are witty and friendly. This is by far the best hair studio in the upstate!

Corrigan cut my hair beautifully and with thorough attentiveness. I felt like they took such care and plenty of time, making sure it was done
down to each detail.
I also loved my experience chatting with both Corrigan and the other stylists at Wavelengths. I felt at home, and laughed and had way more fun than I thought I would at a haircut.
Absolute best shop in the world! Wavelengths has the most talented staff who can literally do anything you want for your hair!
I scheduled an appointment with Corrigan. And I absolutely loved my visit! They were an absolute delight and the atmosphere was so inclusive and welcoming.
I suffer from anxiety and chronic depression and needed a style that was easy to maintain. I was first embarrassed to come into the shop (having cut out some of my own matted hair) but Corrigan, immediately made me feel at ease and gave me a beautiful style!
I will definitely be returning!

You can’t go wrong with this salon. They are exceptional with their atmosphere & services. Stylists don’t argue with you on what you want and they will walk through everything with you so they ensure that they are giving you exactly what you want.
