I was going here for years and it's definitely gone downhill since after covid. Pretty dirty each time I've gone and plus the bartenders charge me twice the past couple times I've gone for one drink.. I constantly have to go into my bank to take the charge off.
Valet took items out of my car after I paid I cash tip . Don’t bite the hand that feeds you. Also not the vibe just go to Tampa if you want to have a good time
My amazing mother in law reserved seats for New Years and they gave us A couch that is not what we paid for!! The manager ERIC was soooo mean and acted like he was way better then everyone!! DO NOT GO HERE AND ALSO THE LADIES in the front were being soo rude!! If I could give no stars I would!! We paid over thousand for our seats too!!!
I got a VIP area for my friends birthday and we had a blast, the waitresses were beautiful and super sweet...only complaint, people trying to come in our area who didn't pay for it... I was my own bouncer ????????????
My wife and I went in October on a Saturday night and had a great time. We arrived around midnight after dancing at Shepherd’s tiki bar before that. DJ was playing good top 40 music (and remixes) that anyone can shake their hips to. This was a much classier place than Ybor City dance clubs. People of all ages were at the Wave. There was no cover charge because it was their off season. Their busy season runs March-Sept and that’s when they charge an entry fee.
If you want to reminisce on the past and feel like you are attending a highschool prom then this is the perfect place for you. What a joke. It was almost funny
This place was SOOOOO much fun and had great music! They also have a dance floor outside which was nice! Both dance floors play different music and there is bars outside as well. The nightclub is right on the beach which was beautiful! It took a little bit to get drinks but they were good! I recommend getting a bucket drink. My friends and I danced the whole entire time, there were some creepy guys here and there but you will find that anywhere. They had security which made me feel secure. I recommend checking the nightclub out!
Lot of potential. But way too pricey for the drinks and service they offer. They might throw you out if you are having too much fun. Pity because they can do a lot more with it. Sad they try do it the wrong way.
