Incredible food with many options for those with dietary needs and allergies. (The Mac and cheese was so amazing we got an order to go!!) Our waitress, Shania, was attentive and personable! The interior of the restaurant is warm and rustic making it perfect for date night or family dinner. Will absolutely be back soon.
I am quite satisfied to finally make it here. Parking wasn't an issue with plenty of open nearby spots. The staff were very friendly and professional. The food was delicious and the drinks were tasty. I appreciated the menu items name after the restaurant. The view of the river was really good from our table. I am looking forward to going back again soon.
Fine dining without the crazy pricing. We love the rustic water-side space, is even more fun with fine weather so you can eat outside. Food was really nice, we'll presented, not too large nor too little. Service was lively. Only minor ding was the chocolate raspberry mousse cake was a bit dry and grainy, obviously not done by the restaurant.
Really great place, and a gorgeous atmosphere. A vast improvement over the previous restaurant that was in this location. Especially if you are vegan or prefer plant based options. The Tofu dish is perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and soft and flavorful inside and the vegan sides are also great. The owners are phenomenal and attentive (as are the staff). They seem to be on premise much of the time. The head chef came out to greet us, because as it turns out, he is vegan too and was really excited to see how we enjoyed our food. I loved my first experience. Second time around, they were out of the main vegan dish, which, honestly is a great sign! So we weren't too bummed, and settled for enjoying their awesome vegan sides and a couple beverages from their amazing drink menu. I'm hoping they'll expand their vegan options in the future if demand makes that possible, but either way, I'll keep coming back for the amazing service, ambiance and food.
A wonderful cozy atmosphere with historic vibes and friendly employees. Will definitely come back here again.
Our experience here was quite disappointing. The prices for both drinks and food were on the higher side, and unfortunately, the quality did not match up. The baked fish was inedible with soggy breadcrumbs, and the cocktails were overly sweet and watered down, clearly lacking proper preparation. The food, in general, lacked seasoning, and the mashed sweet potatoes were bland, clearly showing signs of being puréed (as opposed to, you know, mashed). Moreover, the portion size of the side dish was quite small, with only three small smashed potatoes served. To add to the letdown, the vegan tiramisu, which was a major draw for us, was unavailable. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant, as the culinary experience did not meet our expectations. Service was fine.
Recently went to Watershed for the second time with my brother in law, wife, and her grandpa. She got the ravioli and the three guys got burgers - all three of us agreed it was the best burger we've ever had, which surprised us. Was not expecting that at all, but it was divine.
Incredible atmosphere, really special attention to detail, great staff, and ridiculously good food. Amazing location, too, with a tremendous view and beautiful architecture. This is a special place.
Took my college boyfriend (who eventually became my future ex-husband ????) to Watershed for dinner on our third anniversary. We ❤️'d it! GREAT menu, wonderful ambience. They sat us at a corner table overlooking the Saw Mill River. Wonderful, intimate and in a beautiful location. I DEFINITELY recommend making a reservation though -- this place FILLS up quickly.
