Our family of 10 booked this place for Christmas as we were multiple households from all over and wanted somewhere we could come together, and wow this place was perfect for that! The hosts were more than welcoming, Nikki decorated the pub for Christmas which made it even more magical, we had a welcome hamper and all in all had the best Christmas, it wouldn’t have been the same anywhere else! There was everything we could have wished for and more, even the log fire was set up ready to light. The pub was perfect for us all to come together, everything from the apartments to the fully equipped kitchen and big dinning table, we couldn’t have for anything different. Would highly recommend, every detail was done perfectly!
We rented the whole place; 4 apartments and the pub. Our group kept saying "this place is too nice for us"????. Apartments were lovely and clean, the bigger ones are huge. The pub is awesome. Great venue for a get together with friends, and having a fully kitted out kitchen is a massive bonus. Lovely hiking nearby and we managed to go for a swim up on Llyn y Fan Fach, which was incredible (cold but incredible) as well as a trip to the waterfalls, which were a bit busier than the lake but still worth a look. Waterfall apartments is a really special spot if you want to take it up a notch in terms of venue quality for a special occasion. Will definitely be back.
Lovely little apartment with everything you need. Clean and comfortable with welcoming hosts. Pub downstairs is also the best bonus with delicious home cooked food. Excellent quality, quantity for a good price! Loads of walking opportunities just outside your door in such beautiful countryside and many stunning waterfalls. Would certainly come back.
We came with other families so actually had all of the apartments between us. The apartments were lively, clean and had everything we needed for our time away. The hosts were amazing, welcoming and friendly, they looked after us really well, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be back, we have has such a lovely time and the location of the apartments was perfect for the falls
The most amazing place! The owners are so kind and welcoming and provided bread, milk and cake free of charge to get us started. The apartments themselves are spacious, very clean and comfortable, and have everything you need to self cater including a microwave oven, hobs, a kettle, toaster and plates/cutlery. The location is great, so close to multiple waterfalls that you can walk there. It's the room you want to come back to after a long day out in beautiful Wales :) would 10/10 recommend. Also, they have great COVID precautions in place so you feel very safe while there!
Best apartments in this sort of Wales. Lovely and clean, everything you need in the kitchen and a welcome starter pack bread milk tea coffee and sugar.
Had such an amazing time here. Lovely cosy, well kept place in nice quiet location. Very gracious ans thoughtful host. Will be back again. Stayed as family of 4 with 2 children.
We stayed in the sleeping Giant for one week. Lovely little studio with a very comfy bad and a sofa bed. It was clean and Della, the host left her number should we want anything else. Fantastic views and a great location for Cardiff, Swansea, Mumbles and Bridgend.
