Food is really good. Wife had the shrimp and grits which were cooked perfectly and had a ton of flavor. I had the cod and it was equally as good (just be mindful of the few unavoidable bones!!) drinks were amazing, and the music was very good. Very up beat yet the atmosphere can support both romantic and relaxing. Please don’t let this place fail. Visit and try their new menu, and while you’re at it, grab a glass of “the breakers” from the cocktails menu, and the peach cheese cake.. it’s very much a pumpkin spice flavor and it’s awesome.
Had a very nice lunch. If you're a fan of arugula, I recommend the chickpea salad. And the avocado Caesar dressing is excellent. Great bartender (James) was attentive and fun to converse with. Nice atmosphere on a sunny day in Luray.
Watch & Warrant is an absolute gem! The moment you step in, you are struck by the refined ambiance. It is simply mesmerizing, with every detail meticulously crafted from ceiling to floor. It gives Great Gatsby vibes. Now onto the food – the fish was perfectly fried, crispy on the outside and pure delish on the inside. The steak was cooked to perfection, just the way we liked it. And let's talk about their wine selection – top-notch! It perfectly complemented our meal. The chef herself came out to inquire about our dining experience, ensuring everything was to our liking. It's this level of care and attention that truly elevates the dining experience. And of course, we couldn't leave without indulging in dessert. Which was all I could manage to photograph because we dove right into our apps and entrees. Let me just say, it was heavenly! Overall, Watch & Warrant exceeded our expectations in every way possible. Whether you're a foodie or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, this place is a must-visit. Can't wait to return!
Stopped here after seeing the mountain. They were super busy. I was seated right away. Patricia was a fantastic server, Ben had the bar running like a Swiss watch. Their signature burger was one of the best I have ever had and the fries are killer. Amazing local brews on tap. It has an upscale vibe and everyone working looked happy and they all would take the time to chat and answer questions.
A neat little gem of a place in the center of Luray, VA. The decor is very reminiscent of the 1930s with art deco touches everywhere. Service was prompt and friendly. The food was sublime. I have the beef tenderloin with truffle butter and brussel sprouts and mashed sweet potatoes as my sides. My wife had the shrimps with cheese grits with brussel sprouts. To start we had the mushroom gnocchi which was amazing and so was the French onion soup. We had no room left for dessert.
Delicious food with flair. I had prime rib that was herb crusted, with fingerling potatoes (yum! perfectly seasoned) and the slaw (because is a veggie ????). Hubs had The Wreck which was great but last time he had the fish and chips which he said was amazing. Wish it was a little closer to home so we could visit more often.
Me and my wife went here to eat for lunch, the interior design made it seem pricey but It was quite affordable. We both got hamburgers which we're the best we've ever had and we're both hamburger people. our server was the bartender and he was a very polite and kind gentle man. the whole place had a really cool aesthetic. overall we are going to go get here a lot even if it's an hour drive and it made for a great memory on our honeymoon.
Had a great time at Watch & Warrant! Our bartender, Brandon, was FANTASTIC. I got their holiday margarita, which was amaze-balls. We ordered the buffalo wings and a classic burger with bacon added. The wings and fries were great, and the burger was a burger. When we are in the area again, we will be back!
