Visited today 13/11/23 food was amazing. Waitress was lovely to everyone who entered the cafe and was very attentive. She is a credit to the cafe and we will definitely be back the next time we are in Edinburgh
Came in this morning for breakfast upon reading the reviews was excited to try a different spot then what we had been using thus far. I will say it's a cute little place , presentation was beautiful for all the dishes we ordered but once you started eating it that was a different story. I ordered a porridge it was so thick I could use it to plaster my walls. I also ordered the waffle stack. I love a good warm soft waffle just like the next person not something that came pre wrapped and was dry and crumbly. I could go on and on it seemed like every dish had it's own issue, and once I questioned about the waffle the attitude changed completely but made sure they added there tip to the bill. I dont complain ever about food but I'm just trying to help the next consumer make the right choice on where they spend there money.
The waffles tasted great but wasn’t a huge fan of the bacon. Reasonably priced and quick service :) breakfast was £13 which was a bit on the higher end but filling overall. Wish there were more mushrooms! ????
Very hearty Scottish vegan breakfast alternative. Would return anytime. Highly recommend.
Porridge was more like overnight oats, not creamy, and vegan breakfast quite poor with raw tomatoes and overcooked mushrooms, plus the sausages were the old-fashioned vegetable kind.
Great cafe with a contemporary interior. We were looking for crepes, so this cafe was chosen. I had a simple Valencia (sweet) crepe and my wife a Prague (bacon and egg) crepe. Both were prepared nicely and very tasty. Service was friendly and efficient. Nice cafe in a very competitive market.
We had a lovely experience here while resting before our train. The vegan wrap was delicious and we ended up ordering a crepe after which was equally as nice! Our server was very friendly.

Student discount offered here at 20% discount. The staff are fantastic. The food is great. I particularly liked that they served “London fog” tea on their menu. First place I’ve seen that has this on their menu for many years.
It’s a small place, remember to sign in for your covid info at the start and wait to be seated.
It’s in a great part of town next to lots of local and independent stores.
Place is a little cold however so if anyone who works there reads this review, may consider turning the heating up a tad :)
Apart from that. Awesome food, relaxed atmosphere and I’d definitely go back.
