I was super impressed with Walton’s. I love a good catfish place and this place didn’t disappoint! I came here with family on a Saturday night as a huge crowd was clearing. I should have known from the full parking lot that this place was superb!! I had the three catfish plate with two sides. Prices were reasonable, food was awesome, and the waitresses were so kind! The owner came around after our meal and checked to make sure everything was okay! Love that kind of service. Hush puppies were some of the best I’ve ever had!

Visiting family in the area. This was recommended. As we approached a customer with a take out order accosted by the wife confirmed his mouth was watering trying to hold off until he got the meals home. Highly recommended. Ordered the large Catfish filets with vinegar Slaw, potato salad and of course hush puppies. Catfish tasted fresh and was excellent. Hush Puppies also were excellent, the Vinegar slaw perhaps a little sweeter for my taste but that is just me still very good. Potato salad, well I have never had a bad potato salad so hard for me to judge. Companions had a variety of other items which they both agreed the fried okra and squash were among the best they have had.
Waltons Restaurant is a favorite for locals and is a must try for anyone visiting North Alabama. The hush puppies are 10 out of 10! The catfish is famous, the steaks, chicken and burgers are incredible and the sweet tea is simply amazing! There is nothing on the menu that you should not try! Locally owned and operated, the service is always second to none! Next time you want a great meal, Waltons should be your destination!
I haven't ate here since 2002 or around there. I honestly can't remember but I was craving steak one day and I had a few friends suggest Walton's . I did a call in order and ordered steak. It was absolutely fantastic!! I will be back again for more .
First time I've ever been here and it was great! We stopped in for a quick bite on the way home and just got burgers, but they were delicious! I'll definitely be back for more. Good food, friendly staff, and a great time!

Worst experience I’ve probably ever had in a restaurant. I waited an hour for a pork chop and sweet potato fries and never got it. Saw a server twice the whole time I was there. She came out to ask “ if I wanted a salad while I was waiting” and told me “the pork chop is a little messed up”. I won’t go back ever again if I can help it.
My wife and I decided to stop by there just by sheer chance. We were hungry and there it was. It was a nice rustic look even the outdoors had that kind of feel. They had a nice arranged flower garden. When we got inside there was no hostess there to seat us we were told just to find somewhere to sit. The server came around her name was Sissy and she was very helpful. She actually sat down at the table with us and talked about how the food was prepared. My wife and I both decided on the steaks the ribeye. Mine was cooked medium rare hers was medium. The steaks were cooked very well and had a good flavor. The baked potato was cooked nicely. It had the baked potato taste to it. We also have ribs but we haven't tried them yet. We got him to go. All in all the experience was good. The server is what made the experience enjoyable. The food was good but not as good as a service. I live an hour and a half away from that place and I can't wait to go back.
