They were able to arrange a ride to an airport over an hour away on a half-hour notice. Communication was prompt. Definitely good service for a smaller area without Uber/Lyft. The driver was kind and got me where I needed to go without issue. Prices were fair. Would gladly use Walt’s again!
Sometimes they show other times they take forever and sometimes no show. But we gotta have them because for some reason other cab companies don't work out in Bennington for very long..
First time there. So impressed with hygienic and dentist herself. What a relief....
Quality of service seriously depends on what driver you get. Sometimes they are punctual and get you where you're going, other times you will be given an inaccurate time estimate and will be left waiting an unreasonable amount of time. You're told to be waiting outside for them even in inclement weather upwards of 30+ minutes. You cannot prearrange rides for specific times. If you have somewhere you need to be at a certain time, do not use this service.
We needed to go to Price Chopper and they said 15 to 20 minutes they came an hour later they kept picking up people not going with the Covid thing we had a full car of different people, also our driver was whipping around corners fast where it went over the yellow lines, and we got to the store way later, then when we needed to be picked up they said 20 minutes. 3 hours we waited kept trying to call and it went to voice mail never again
is negative stars an option worst taxi ever said 10 mins I went out in 5 waited 15 mins to call back and be told he was early and wouldn't comeback that is wasn't is f$%&ing job to be on time soooo. then he hung up smh I called. back and he told me he wouldn't come back and hung up again there is no over site of these drivers they get away with what ever they want. I've used them before even at there best its obvious there the only game in town when you smell there driver that cursed me out if there was any other option everyone would take it!!!
Apparently Walt will just close and not answer the phone when he feels like it. Open until 11. Ha. Funny. Been trying to call since 10 and having it ring and ring and then just forwarded every other call. Ridiculous! You should learn to treat loyal customers better!!!
Usually decent service, but I have had a few other bad experiences with them in the past. Today I was very disappointed. I had a vet's appointment for my three month old kitten and called Walt's Taxi for a ride, like I have always done for her appointments. They said they would be about twenty minutes, that's fine. Half hour goes by and I called them again and THEN they decided to tell me they were going to be another half hour. Extremely unprofessional. If you know you are going to be running late, it is your job to let people know that. Missed my appointment and also missed a day of work that I could not afford because of these people. Next time, do your job, be professional and let me know.
