A great little hidden out of the way gem. The Walnut Tree Stores has a shop out front and a fantastic tea room out the back. With outdoors seating and parking this little gem serves a good selection of hot drinks and cake. Fantastic friendly staff and surrounded by fantastic scenery this is a great little stop for walkers, cyclists, riders and anybody enjoying a drive in the beautiful Welsh countryside.
The breakfast was quality. Definitely fuelled us for the rest of today’s Beacons way walk. I like the ambience and attention to detail.

Brilliant place, called today for food, although it was fish and chips Friday, because my wife and I are gluten free they instantly offered us an assortment of gluten free options, we both had chicken curry and it was delicious, beautiful tender chicken, beautiful flavour, the staff are brilliant and very attentive, there is disabled blue badge car park around the back close to the seating, the toilets are large and spotlessly clean. I have already told all my family and friends. We'll worth a visit.
Amazing food. Went for dinner and although it is a cafe in design the food was restaurant quality (we had gourmet burger and Penang curry) Peter was polite and courteous. Highly recommended, the attached shop is convenient. There's outdoor seating for nice weather.
Outdoor seating area next to river as well as indoor seating. Good food &parking area,even a place to tie your horses if out riding! Delicious Vegetarian options available! Friendly atmosphere. Lovely walks nearby.
