The male host is one of the rudest people I've ever met. If it weren't for our waitress being so kind, I would have left.
Overall the food is amazing and the drinks were just right!
Food was okay, soup could have been hotter. Beet salad was tasty! We also liked our goat cheese flatbread appetizer. We loved the robot. We still got plenty of attention from our excellent waitress, but she just didn't have to carry all the dishes.
We greatly enjoyed our Easter brunch! It was extremely lovely that they were able to squeeze my fiancé and I in for brunch when we called the Tuesday before.
When we walked in, it was clear that the buffet was freshly made and stocked. We were the first reservation seating time of the day (10am) and the prime rib was tender and delicious.
All of the food at the chafers were restocked every so often during the time we were there. The mimosas were made correctly (2/3 Prosecco, 1/3 OJ).
The only negative was the one dish I was looking forward to- the eggs Benedict. The hollandaise on the Benedict was….lacking to say the least. It tasted like hollandiase out of a can, and was so yellow it looked like it. I was disappointed to find out it was made in house by the chef, and left feedback before we left that a new recipe to get the tang of real hollandaise should probably be utilized.
For context- the hollandaise looked like the first picture, versus the correct color in the second (neither of which are from Walnut Grill- but taken off of google images). Call me a hollandaise purest- but it should definitely have that tang to it that makes an egg Benedict delicious!
To conclude- we WILL be back. This is a very reasonably priced buffet for the venue, and we will come back on another Sunday in May where we hope that the hollandaise recipe will have been perfected.
I came here for the Mother's Day brunch buffet today. I had heard good things about this restaurant, so I was excited to be able to get a last minute reservation the day before.
Pros: Friendly staff! The table was nice!
Cons: Dirty silverware, frequently ran out of plates, no beverages included in the price for a $40/ person buffet, the food was mediocre (I will talk more about this further down), restaurant layout is not conducive for a buffet, the buffet area was frequently messy, and the vibes were off.
Food:
-The pancakes and French toast sticks were supermarket freezer quality
-Scrambled eggs were watery
-no complaints about the potatoes
-the meats were just okay
-constantly ran out of prime rib while we were there.
-deserts were "meh" (i.e., packaged sweet rolls from the grocery store)
Overall: The quality of what we received did not match the price. To be clear, I am not a bougie person when it comes to food, and generally won't complain. Also, I don't normally post reviews to complain, but it was just a disappointing experience.
What a great place to get together! We went on a Monday and so there was no fighting over tables at lunch time. The waitress was fantastic, the food was so good. We each ordered lavender lemonade which was tasty but the flavor was overwhelmingly creme de violet. We were glad it wasn't busy and the waitress didn't try to kick us out which was nice because we wanted to just sit there and talk for a while. We will definitely go back.

Salad, crab cake and drinks were great. Crab dip could use more crab meat but over all was good. Steak was off temp wise twice, baked sweet potato seemed overcooked for me but may just be personal preference.
Id say its great waitstaff, bartender and food was quality products just prepping was off. Cooks may be overwhelmed?

Jessica was incredible and the Sunday brunch buffet can't be beat. Incredible value and service. Can't recommend brunch enough with the white sangria. Will definitely be back on a regular basis.
Dined in for a late lunch. Had appetizers and entrees. Nice, clean atmosphere. Our Waitress Sam was EXCELLENT. Only complaint was the Spinach Artichoke dip was a big disappointment. It came as whole artichoke hearts only cut in half lengthwise with very little sauce, so not able to dip into it at all. It looked more like an entree as you needed a fork & knife to cut it before eating it. Came with bland unseasoned tortilla chips that you couldent dip in as the dip was too chunky. A messy dish. Needs taken off the menu or revamped.
