We went to a private party here but we knew very few people. The whole experience was great. Everyone was so friendly. Complete strangers were chatting with us like old friends. Such interesting locals. Great atmosphere and lovely old pub feeling. Will definitely call again.
Very cosy, friendly pub, good beers and a real fire. The locals are all very chatty, simply a great pub ????
Quiet country pub near good, easy walks. Not sure if they do food but definitely a place to add to the end of a day out.
Really nice little local pub with lots different ales. Locals very friendly, dog friendly, has a little beer garden opposite but not nice enough to sit out. The had a real fire burning so sat next to it.
We were recommended to call in as we were cycling the old railway line cycle path which passes within a couple of hundred yards of it. This pub is a gem! While not serving food it serves hospitality by the ton. The good weather meant that we could sit outside but inside a roaring fire complimented a friendly atmosphere. The landlord is a grand, friendly lad. He came out to have a look and chat to my wife and I about our bikes. They're electric (sshhh. Don't tell anyone). A definite port of call the next time we're in the area. Old Rosie cider on draught. Life gets no better than this!
A proper pub. Good beers, crisps, nuts, etc. Open fire. Dog friendly. People who talk not stare at phones.
No cooked food but who cares
Lovely little pub; went there for a game of darts, good selection of beer, friendly staff, great darts bait after!
Top marks from the Tynedale lads!
First visit to the Wallace, more than impressed. Lovely out of the way watering hole. Idyllic settling where you can get lost in time and just chill. Good selection of various ales and basically a good selection of everything else. Haven't eaten there yet, but if the food is as good as the welcome, you get, and the way you feel when entering the pub. I need to say nothing else. Top marks once you've been you will not want to leave.
