Cannot more highly recommend Walker Services! Our Kia broke down on the Turnpike one Saturday afternoon, a flatbed dropped us off just before closing. Rather than do the easy thing and tell us 'bad luck', Scott opened up the engine and ran a quick diagnostic and helped us get to accommodation we had to quickly organize. If anyone has a bad word to say about Scott Walker, they must be talking about someone else.
My car broke down on the turnpike. It was a coolant leak of some sort, and it had to be towed off the roadway. Late on a Friday afternoon, in the Thanksgiving holiday week, this gentleman made time to look over my car and attempt to repair it. The damage was essentially minor, but it still needed to be corrected. Scott labored for over an hour attempting to pinpoint the problem, then he applied a stop leak product and gave me a bottle of antifreeze, so that I could continue my out-of-state trip without further delay. I'm grateful he could squeeze me in with absolutely no notice when he probably is ready to go home after a long day.
Walker services has taken care of my vehicles for the last 5 years. They always get me in right away and take great care of my vehicles. I trust their service and pricing.
I can not say enough good things about this place. I had broken down on the Turn Pike and had to be towed into Somerset. Too late on a Sunday evening to be repaired by anyone (Advanced Auto Parts replaced the battery but it wasn't the problem, although it needed replaced anyway). Next day I went back there. Walkers fit me in that after noon. They diagnosed my problem, found the correct part and installed it in less than 4 hours. That even included a one hour trip to Johnstown for the needed part. The treated me well, charged me a fair rate and made me feel welcome. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!
Great work. Honest, willing to do the hard stuff to save the driver money and DOT issues later on. Highly recommend.
I was in Somerset visiting my brother on Saturday when i was met with unwelcoming circumstances???? I went to leave from visiting my brother and found out that my car wouldn't start!!! My brothers friend called the first mechanic which happened to be my answer to prayer, Walker Services. After the call was made to Walker Services approximately 10- 15 minutes later Mike the Mechanic showed up???? Mike saw that the cable going to the battery terminal was pulled out? Then Mike swiftly made the repair to my vehicle and i and my car were back on the road again.I want to personally say thank you to Mike the mechanic and Scott the owner for being an answer to prayer! I would personally recommend these men to anyone.Thanks so much again Walker Services for everthing you did for me, i sincerely appreciated it!!! Tracy (a very happy customer)
