I hate leaving bad reviews. But it’s frustrating when you meet people who don’t take pride and what they do. Unfortunately, Kevin spent about 10 minutes cutting my hair, favoring clippers over scissors, even for the top of my head. And no, I don’t keep my hair short on top. I had to ask him to slow down and take a little bit more time in his work. He had no clue how to do a fade. Sadly, it gave the impression of someone who wants to get paid for doing the quickest job and least amount of work.
The lady who was inside cutting another gentleman‘s hair. I take my hat off to her. I was watching her be meticulous spend time on his fade, making sure it was cut well. I hope Kevin can learn from you.
Tom is the master of quick and short haircuts. The price is great, and you are done quickly - be he does like to do them short! I tell him just trim it. leave it long and I get a nice short cut. Yesterday I said to just cut it the way he likes it, the weather's hot - and wow, it's short! But neatly and evenly done - good haircut.
Amy will cut more to your request. She's not cutting until the Covid situation eases up, though.
They have a third barber on weekends, I didn't care for his cut as much - not so even, and very slow working. Maybe he isn't as experienced.
Both Tom and Amy give good haircuts at a great price. The shop is clean, spacious, and has a great big TV.
Always treated well here, my son and daughter also like coming here.
These people don't know what they are doing. I don't know how they are in business. They ask you how you would like the hair cut and you tell them and they start arguing on what you told them. That was with my 2 boys so I decided not to get my haircut I'll wait to go somewhere else. I came home and cleaned up my kids hair with my clippers and one of my son's said " dad can you cut my hair? You do a better job."
The only person that knows how to do a mid taper there is Kevin. The rest when I asked for a mid taper they give me a mid fade. The fade was not performed good rather the fade was a bald fade.
Under new management. Tom has retired and Amy sold the business to spend more time with her family. Walker's barbershop is now managed by Kevin. He's friendly and will treat you right. Support your local neighborhood business.
Overall pretty decent barber shop. But for those who plan on getting fades, don’t go here. I ask for mid fades which is usually my go-to cut, but they don’t even fade my hair, they just shave the sides and backs. But if you’re looking for other styles, then this place is ok I guess.
