Best KPortal Reviews

I order from this restaurant before and i loved the rice chauffa special so i decided to order again and i was shocked!!! the quality of food is so poor that won’t feed it to your dog. The meat was so dry and stiff ( very old) they just lost me as a costumer and forever. You can’t feed this food to your costumers come-on!! I am very disappointed! I had to throw out the food that i pay over $40 for it.
As someone who used to work here I am highly disappointed with my experience today. The food was mid/decent, used to be much better. Service was incredibly slow when the restaurant only had 1-2 other customers. While ordering a plate we explained to her what was wanted and she looked at us like we were dumb and still gave us the wrong order. We didn’t complain because no matter how in depth we went with such a simple order of chicken she still failed to bring us what we asked for and said she was confused.
I called the store to let them know I was overcharged. Apparently, they add an automatic gratuity once there are 3 people at a table. She tried to convince me that that was always how they charged and that is incorrect and ILLEGAL.
I asked to speak to the manager and every time she made it a point to tell me she was the owners wife and that she doesn’t want to argue with me, I was not arguing?? And refused to let me speak to the manager. Then told me to call back in approximately 2 weeks to speak to the other co-owner.
Wife or not, customer service should be better and bigger than her ego.
Make sure you read your receipts for hidden fees. I do not mind tipping but I am not adding tip on top of automatic gratuity that was not notified to us.. especially when there wasn’t even enough adults at the table. Scam scam scam.
As a recommendation to the owner(s) - stop putting friends and family to run the business the language barrier clearly is a problem for English speaking customers and if someone is on the floor they should be able to accommodate the Spanish and English speaking customers. That way there are no errors in food or money transactions.
And 2nd, they always tend to have a power trip because of the connection to management.
I've been here before years ago, we used to order take out regularly from here, always loved the food. Dined in a few times a well back around 2018.
The portions for take out got really small at one point so we stopped ordering.
Always missed it. Now I that I'm living in the Woodbridge area I decided to go back for a dine in experience again, and it was wonderful, they did change the decor a bit, for the better might I add, and it still felt authentic.
The decor is soothing, feels very cozy, we just sat down anywhere we pleased as this is a casual dining type establishment.
We were helped right away, server was very sweet even though she did not speak very much English it really wasn't an issue as we already knew what we wanted. We ordered, waited maybe 10 or 12 minutes and our food came to our table, the server gave us all the sauces we needed, everything was hot and delicious just as I remembered it! Very great flavor!
We had Lomo saltada.
This place has been consistent over the years. I noticed it's a bit pricier than it used to be but that makes sense given how the cost of even has risen exponentially over the last few years.
Still very fair price for what you receive.
Cozy place, nice Spanish music playing in the background, very nice place.
I'll be back!
My work put me on to this place! So good, the servers are so sweet. Restaurant is clean and they are pretty busy, but make sure your food is place and ready to go!! Omg and that GREEN SAUCE IS AMAZING!!!!!! ???????? ???????? CHECK THEM OUT!!
I was in the mood for Peruvian after my long drive home. I called in my order of the tallarin saltado and it came to about $15. When I arrived I found parking nearby. I walked in and told the server my name. She said it wasn't done yet so I could have a seat. I waited about another 10 minutes for the food, paid and left. When I got home I dug in and it was very tasty. The green sauce they had was a great add on. The steak was seasoned to perfection. I enjoyed my meal.
Service was just ok. I wouldn't describe it as very friendly but it wasn't say it was bad either..
Peruvian food is heavily influenced by Chinese and you can see and taste it in the food. A lot of their dishes look like variations of Chinese stir fry and fried rice.
I ordered a chicken Lomo Saltado. The food was good, very flavorful but I do think they add in too many French fries as fillers instead of the actual chicken meat. There really wasn't too much chicken in the dish. However, their green sauce is to die for. I'm sure there's a lot of calories in it but it's worth it.
I'm not sure I'd go out of my way to come back here again.
We tried the ceviche mixto but it was a little bit too lemony , but their chaufa rice it was so good ????, didn't have dessert variety . Staff was courteous and food was served in a good time manner.
We went tonight (Thursday night) so happy that we did, service was prompt and perfect, but the food! The food was amazing amazing amazing! We have the ceviche, the hearts, the calamari and the arroz de mariscos ( take your time to look out for the Peruvian names lol), preparation was on point and everything was so fresh. You can't always believe reviews. This was awesome ???????? definitely recommend it.
