We wanted to stop here on our last visit to Myrtle Beach but simply ran out of time. We made it a point to try it this go around. We were beyond happy with everything. From the location, to the staff, to the atmosphere, and finally, the food. Awesome!!! We got an order of buffalo chicken bites and two burgers. Phenomenal! We actually ordered another round of buffalo chicken bites to go. They are awesome. The burgers were wonderful! I really can’t wait until our next visit to Myrtle Beach to come again! I highly recommend this place for great food, atmosphere, and service!!
We wanted to try a new place out for dinner and had always heard of this place but had never been before. There isn't one in the Richmond area of Virginia. So we tried it out tonight. Amelia, our server was friendly and helpful and answered lots of our questions. The food and atmosphere were great. She told us a big question she gets all the time is if any of the Whalburg brothers have visited this location.
SPOILER ALERT: Chef Paul has visited but his actor brothers, Donnie and Mark, have not yet.
There ya go, now you don't have to ask her! I went with their classic, called the Our Burger, but went for the double version of it, called The Double Decker. It was cooked Medium as I asked for and was delicious. All in our party were satisfied with their food and the service. We hope to visit again on next year's vacation!
At 9:00 pm on Sunday before Memorial Day, our party of eight was promptly seated. I am glad we chose to dine at Wahlburgers. The food was very good. My husband really enjoyed the open-faced sloppy Joe. I really enjoyed the Our Burger, Paul's Choice (of course, he is a chef). It was very flavorful. The sauce was so good; and I wish I had requested more for my burger. Christian was very accommodating and attentive.
My mission is now to visit other Wahlburgers across the country.
Prices were very fair. We have never been to this restaurant, so we popped in to give it a try on our family outing. We did have a large party of 11, and we didn't have to wait long before we were seated. Now, to order, that was a good 10 min wait. The burger was thick and flavorful. For the price, it was fair. The truffle fries were good, but I don't see the extra fan fair of the cost vs. regular order of fries. It was about 95 for 6 of us. Only 2 got sodas. As I find sodas grossly over priced. I would Def say you need to try out this place. It's worth the bite.
The food was meh. We liked the chicken sandwich and friend prickles the best. The chocolate shake, bbq hamburger and sweet potato totes were okay. The mac & cheese was very watery and you couldn’t taste the cheese at all.
Our server was okay when she interacted with us but spent most of her time behind the bar (already another server back there and she never helped anyone other than to flirt with a guy). At one point she disappeared for a while which was right when we were ready to get our check and leave. So that ended up taking a while - good thing we weren’t in a hurry to go anywhere. Everyone else that interacted with us a lot more pleasant.
Overall the experience was not very impressive, which was disappointing since we had several people recommend this place as a must eat at while in Myrtle Beach.
This was my 3rd times going to this place. Our experience was great here. The server was nice, not many items in menu but what they has was very interesting and food was fantastic.
This was our second Wahlburgers experience, however this was our first at this specific facility in South Carolina. We had come to Broadway at the Beach during a rainy day and did Wonderworks.
We knew what to expect, a good burger joint. Nothing too fancy or expensive, but if you're looking to sit for a short bit and not break the bank, there is where to go!
Our food was great- nothing to complain about there!
What made this experience even better was our SERVER!!! For the life of me I wish I could remember his name (we visited here in August 2023), but I can't. He was absolutely incredible and had us laughing through our entire visit.
Our experience would have been just fine with a different server, but this young man took it to an entire different level!
My husband and I have watched EVERY episode of Wahlburgers and were really looking forward to finally trying it. As soon as we got there he started saying "Paul would lose it in here" lol, there was salt all over the table they sat us at and a straw on the floor nobody wanted to pick up. The servers were not very friendly , our waiter never told us his name and they all looked very sloppy. They were wearing jeans and hats backwards, one male employee had long hair not in a hat but, a loose ponytail. The food was TERRIBLE and so disappointing. We started with the fried pickles and they weren't to bad but, then the entrees came... I had the "Our Burger" and asked for the special sauce on the side because, I wasn't sure if I would like it. When it came the bun looked like a thin store brand bun and the meat had no flavor AT ALL just MEAT and was almost mushy. He never brought the sauce so, it was a bland burger. I love cheeseburgers so it's hard to disappoint me but, it was so bad I didn't finish it. My husband tried mine and spit it out. I ordered the bacon mac and cheese and it was COLD and only had some kind of creamy runny cheese, also didn't eat this. My Husband got the crispy chicken ranch sandwich and he said it wasn't bad but the bun literally fell apart while he was eating it. He got the tater tots and they were cold. The sweet tea tasted like what I imagine cardboard taste like so, I requested a soda instead. Overall we spent more than $50.00 here and were so not impressed. This restaurant needs some help. We ate at a nice place the night before and had a whole meal for the same price, very overpriced for what you get. Maybe Paul's restaurant is better and we will give it a shot one day but, never again in Myrtle Beach. And I agree with him Paul would be losing it if he went there, lol. I just feel like what you see on tv as far as the expectation and quality of food just isn't being met there and I don't think they are using the same meat and buns as shown on the menu.
