stopped in for brunch while passing through yakima and was very impressed with the food. we were seated quickly and the food came out fast, even though they were very busy. the food was great, especially the waffles! i got the iron woman and it was the perfect amount of food for me. definitely recommend stopping here for a delicious and hearty meal!!
Outstanding place to eat breakfast. Billboard says "voted best breakfast in yakima," I believe it! We went here 2 mornings in a row it was that good, the second morning I wanted the same thing and the waiter remembered! We were outta towners in for the WIAA state track meet. Great service, wonderful atmosphere and neat & tidy place to have a meal.
Oh, I had the country fried steak and a waffle (that I took to go). The waiter was kind, attentive, and a hottie lol. Will def be back to the yak town, and more specifically Waffle Cafe.
Crepe is paper thin(shows solid technique!) and finally the right texture! Love it! Garden crepe mouthful with burst of different flavors. Hollandaise kept the crepe moist and yummy!
Raspberry crepe filling seemed to be using real crushed raspberry without additional sugar. This such a pleasant surprise! Most places usually use either raspberry jam with tons of sugar or with whole raspberry on top. This crepe with crushed raspberry is not too sweet and perfectly balanced with powdered sugar and whipped cream on top.
Eat before they turn cold for best result.
I can see why this is a favorite for locals!
Might need to wait for a table but very happening and lively there on a Sunday morning.
Totally recommend! We were greeted by a friendly, happy host. Loved the food! Only difficult part about Waffles Cafe is trying to decide what to order. Too many yummy options! Krissenda was a fun and great server.

Awesome breakfast place! They also have gluten-free options and celiac-friendly with dedicated waffle iron space. I had an omelet and waffle, which was excellent and large portions. I will definitely return when in the area. I just gave a 3 star atmosphere as it is a diner style place without any views or anything. Staff and service were great.
Delicious food! Great quality ingredients. Kind service, attentive to tables needs. Fast and hot food even when they were busy. Definitely will return when visiting Yakima.
