6-14-2023 I came back for another try and had a really good experience. I had the Country Omelette with country potatoes and a biscuit with gravy. I had Cranberry Juice and Coffee for my beverages. The service was prompt and very friendly.
First I’d like to say I wish I could’ve given five stars. I ordered a Three Egg Breakfast With a Slab O’ Ham. The eggs and ham are very delicious! I didn’t really care for the country potatoes but they were still good. The biscuit with gravy was excellent with flavor and definitely passed my breakfast test. I ordered orange juice and black coffee. Everybody I interacted with was really nice. My big gripe is that after I was served my food, my server did not come over and ask me how it was or if I need anything. The plates were just dropped and that was that. The portions could be bigger. I was contemplating on ordering something else. I sat there and waited after my meal and decided to just go pay for my meal. She did ask me at the register if I wanted anything else? But that was too late. There was a couple that walked in a few minutes after I did and they were serve drinks first before anybody came and asked me if I wanted anything to drink. In my reviews I like to be very fair and like I said everybody was really nice. It’s the first time in years that I never left a tip because I felt neglected. I’m sure I’ll come back I just don’t know when that will be.

But...They do close at 2pm, which means you can't expect to get seated at 1:32pm ☹️ and the reason I didn't rate 5 stars. To-go orders only after 1:30pm.
This is, without a doubt, what people think of when they think "diner." The atmosphere, service, food, all top notch. Amazing service. The food is outstanding. I never had a chance to find the bottom of my coffee cup, someone was always checking to see if I needed a refill. This place took me back to when I was much younger, to the point I expected to see my grandfather eating breakfast at the counter.
Go here. You will not regret the decision.
Food was good, but portions were on the smaller side. Service was decent. They were getting very busy when we got there, but they still had people walking around refilling coffee. When we were first seated in our booth, I grabbed the edge of the table when I went to get in and I felt something sticky. I mentioned it to the hostess and she said, "I'll get that right now" and never came back to wipe the edge of the table. My husband ended up dipping a napkin in my glass of water to wipe it down. It was also very warm in there. I would definitely eat there again though.
I think one start is toooo much .

I was sorry to sit down as soon as I walked in was not able to ref with the specials for it and when I did asked the gal kept reading it off really fast as if I was bothering her

When I was seated I did ask for a cup of coffee and was given a menu once I received my coffee however 15 minutes later I was not a single server came to me and asked if I was ok not wanted to take my order so I left
Great food, great service and great pricing. Actually cheaper than Denny’s with my Senior Discount card. Get the special you see above the door lots of food that will fill you up. We’re talking pancakes, hash browns, eggs for $8.99 can’t beat that!
This spot has been here for a VERY long time, so it's understandable that the interior/decor is dated and dusty. The staff was friendly. The waffle was surprisingly good. More flavor than any other waffles you can get in town. Prices are a lil steep, but the Waffles are are huge!
Good Food' and Service was Great!! Waitress and team constantly checked on my Family and I, very Friendly place' Truly Recommend... ????????
