There is a party in my mouth! Best waffles EVER! Was not happy about the price, but it was ???? perfection. Ty Nathan for being such a good cook.
Really cool place, great aesthetic. Old building. I got the southwestern tartine. The chicken was a little tough, but other than that the rest of the food was delicious, great waffle, love the sauce they put on. Price seemed a little high, but you can’t go wrong with waffle love!
Been here twice in the past month. Both times the cashiers have been pissy and don’t say a single word except for “what’s your name?” No “hello”, no telling us the price, no “thanks we’ll have your food right out,” nothing. Then after waiting 15 minutes they slap a near raw egg on the waffle. We asked if they could cook the egg a little more and she just grabbed the egg with her hand and dropped it back on the grill. After that we just asked for a refund and left. Never going back there again.
Had the chicken sandwich. The awesome sauce was. My companions both had the grilled cheese. They both loved it.
We found this amazing cafe while visiting the area. There are many creative but not ridiculous options on the menu. We all had the chicken and waffles but I added strawberries and cream cheese frosting on mine. This made it very sweet but was a good balance to the savory fried chicken. The chicken was cooked just right and was very juicy. The waffle was perfect, fluffy without being too bready. This meal was just the perfect portion. Would definitely return here again when back in town.
I'm normally a fan of really old buildings that they attempt to modernize a little bit...

The fountain machine had a couple soda options, Coke, Diet Coke, Root beer, and gross Sprite... Something was off.
Service was interesting, we arrived about 35 minutes before closing. The young person was by herself, (likely busy with a closing checklist or something like that) we had to engage her to order our food. We stood there at the counter for a while to let her complete whatever she needed to complete.
Took my sister here for a birthday breakfast. Quick service, not crowded and really tasty waffles. I would have given five stars but they were out of bacon, bananas, and orange juice. The "leige waffles" were fabulous! I don't know how they get them so crispy and caramelized outside, and soft and fluffy inside. The sign says it's all in the special sugar they import from Belgium. I tried the Breakfast Sammy and I completely inhaled it. My sister had the Cinna Love. We were super happy with the chow and will return again soon.
What a gem of a place to stop on in while strolling down historic 25th street. The staff are rock stars and are passionate about the waffles they make. The waffles are amazing and you can't go wrong with any of the choices they offer.
Lost a star for the following reasons:
coffee machines broken
1 1/2 hour wait on the weekends for food (lack of staff)
No bacon and no pumpkin pie, but you won't know until you order instead of removing it from the menu.
The biggest loss of 1 star, asking to give 5 stars in exchange for $3 off
