We went late on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy and there was no wait for a table. Waffles were great and tasty, eggs cooked to perfection but the sausage was way overcooked and hard. Service was nice and quick. I would go back again, just don't get the sausage.
Was s weekly long term customer with friends. Former manager and staff were always positive and great. She moved on and new manager is useless. Friend had an issue and wanted to speak to him, and he turned, walked into back room and refused to come out. Have found much better places since then to meet and eat .
Way to cold inside. Definitely not comfortable for paying customers. Waitress non existent. Someone else took our order on a napkin. Cook eventually came out from the back with our worthless Waitress. Then she disappeared again. The cook brought us our food. The place was empty beside us and three staff. It was 5 pm on a Saturday. My thoughts were something is wrong here. People are eating somewhere eles. Never again.
Food was good, service was atrocious!
Servers ignored customers and left tables dirty while filling napkin holders as people sat and waited for tables.
Forgot the grits even though we asked twice...she acknowledged we were waiting for them and then counted her tips, filled sugars, and walked around aimlessly. Finally said 'You are waiting for grits, right?' Then took a full 2 minutes to pick them up and bring them to the table.
This is my son's favorite place to eat out. Our servers are friendly and the cooks always cook a perfect meal. Customers are always happy and smiling when we dine in and we go regularly.
NASTY PLACE!!! The waitress hardly paid attention to me and was checking her phone while taking my order, the counter tops were dirty with food crumbs, there was a table that still had cups from the previous customer that was never cleaned up, and the guy on the grill was checking his phone while cooking my damn food!!!! There was only me and another guy in the place so they have more than enough time to wipe down the counters but are sitting checking their phones while waiting on their food. When I finally got my food I said thank you and they just walked off. What in the hell Waffle House?!?! DO BETTER!!!
My son took me here for my birthday. Our waitress was so wonderful!!! She played a celebration song on the jukebox and brought my pecan waffle with a smile. I believe she was training someone and I saw very clearly she had a great impact on the trainee because she too had a great presence.
Food was great!
Watch out for the servers charging you extra for things they let you assume is free. I asked for small gravy on the side and I got charged $3 for that and didn't even get the biscuit that comes with a $3 biscuit and Gravy order. That felt like a rip off. There was other phony charges on my last tab as well. Check your receipt really well and ask them to explain what the charges are for. Eat somewhere else for breakfast.
