Food tastes good but every other order they get your order wrong. I ordered a grits bowl online since they only accept to-go orders online. It had me choose what type of eggs I want and I chose scrambled. I get home with my order and there’s no eggs in my bowl. Then I try to call them about the mistake and they won’t answer because they think you’re trying to call and place an order. If it was once in a blue that they made a mistake then it wouldn’t be a problem and I would let it go. But the fact that they frequently mess up orders and don’t provide any way to reach out and fix it besides driving back to the store is very frustrating.
This is a standard Waffle House, but it is next to several hotels, which is convenient. I never get to eat grits, and they are great here. Servers are fast with getting orders ready, and Mike, in paticular provided outstanding customer service for the handful of visits I made to this location while I was in Virginia. I will go again.
I asked for a large hash brown and a large grit bowl. I trusted their expertise and get home to no eggs in my bowl. That’s my fault (check your food 1st)!!!! Never trust nothing even with a smile. You charged me 30 bucks for little bit of grits in my bowl and watery. No eggs in hash brown. This is why I should have cooked! Highly dissatisfied
Food was hot and fresh and prepared as asked. Very friendly staff but the atmosphere featured high and drunk customers. Security put all of us out so I had to pick up my order from takeout window due to disturbance.
Good experience:
The staff was very friendly and courteous. Meal was prepared and delivered fast.
The restaurant was clean....there was a staff member outside sweeping the parking lot immediately Infront of the store.
FOOD: Don't expect gormet; This is a waffle house.
STAFF: The waitress helping me was very attentive, ensured I had what I needed and I was satisfied with my meal and service.
THE NEGATIVE:
The sugar, syrup, and ketchup containers were not the cleanest. They are "community" served vs individual packets.
OVERALL:
Good experience. I would go back.
I love visiting this Waffle House. The staff is great and always Hospitable. Ms. Lynne has been there for years and she has maintained that great customer service. Mike is always so, delightful to see and is always attentive to his customers.
Been waiting 30 minutes for drinks
They bring out a plain waffle and then put chocolate chips on it reaching over everyone. Not everyone's food was brought out at the same time. 5 people ordered but that was all that was brought out. And it's been over 5 minutes.
Amazing welcoming feeling as you enter...welcomed by three different employees!!!
