The place was cool. The chef he was no good. I ordered a steak and the steak was plain and nasty. For 20 dollars it should have some taste. Second the grits were soupy. I could damn near drink the grits. The good part of the meal was the scrambled eggs and the toast. That was it.
Apparently a $7 burger is just buns, meat and some cheese. I usually enjoy waffle houses burgers. Not quite sure why the bun taste of dish soap. So disappointed. Glad the other stuff I got was decent.
We eat here on a regular basis, the food and services are always the best. The menu is simple and the meals are simple. If they forget something they are happy to fix it quickly without any problems. Love this place.
First time I have been to a Waffle House in decades. Decent food, pleasant people. Only problem was that our waitress went on break and we didn't get any drink refills.
The food is good but I worked here for 3 months. 3 months and no one trained me. I worked 2nd shift (2-10). The server and cook are tg and would have me clean and watch the building while they went out back to smoke. I told the manager that I haven’t been trained MANY times. He took me off of trainer wage and had me on server wage knowing I couldn’t make tips because I WAS NOT TRAINED. When I tried texting or calling I would be ignored. I was ignored for a whole month until I finally quit. DO NOT WORK HERE!
BRANDY AT WAFFLE HOUSE IN GROVEPORT IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST!!!! I have literally never had a better server than her. My son absolutely adores her and she treats us like family everytime we come in. She is the reason I keep going back 100%
Absolutely the worst. Ordered hash browns with everything but chilli and the paste like gravy. Got hash brown with nothing, they were cold and barely cooked. Called didn't get an apology got a stupid excuse. I didn't hear when you ordered. Then have someone else answer the phone and take orders. Freaking morons. If you weren't so ore occupied yelling and giggling you might be able to hear.
Consistently below the bar for many years. They have forgotten the gravy on every single to go order we've ever had. We'll be going to the one on stringtown road from now on even though it's twice as far
