Best waffle house 8ve ever been to. Great service, good food, and deathly heaping of sass from the staff perfect experience!
I don’t understand why every other Waffle House I have been too you are able to call and place a pick up order except the Waffle House on national road. They always say they are to busy and need us to come in and order. Doesn’t it take the same amount of time to take an order regardless if it’s by phone or in person? Some peoples situations don’t make it easy for them to come in and order and then wait 20-30 mins. If it was they would probably just come in to eat. This store would make a lot more money if they corrected their employees on their customer service
I was a bit worried/secretly, I was pleasantly surprised when we pulled into the empty parking lot. It's been a while since I've visited a waffle house, but I have never visited this particular location, and I've never been to an empty Waffle House. I can't complain. The atmosphere was very relaxing, as we were the only 2 diners. It was great. Our waitress was very polite and attentive. The cook was also friendly, and he definitely knew his way around the kitchen. Everything was cooked to perfection. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant to my family and friends.
It's waffle house... This one isn't bad. The food is always made to order and fresh. Decent night time cook and waitress. Never really had a bad meal here.
Vandalia Waffle House is always so amazing. We go out of our way to go here. The service is wonderful and the food is hot and fresh. I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here to date. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Atmosphere could use a little TLC but the service is ALWAYS on point. Fast, welcoming, and respectful. The food is always good. You don't have to worry about something tasting different depending on the staff member! The staff holds conversation, checks in on you frequently, and loves to make kids laugh. Very accommodating.
Very fast friendly service...great food too.
Bacon looked to be cooked in deep fryer and was curled up with burnt edges. Ham had pieces of burnt stuff on it. Tomatoes in the hash browns were burnt. This location used to be the best, but no longer. Even passed one to come to this one. Won't do that again.
