Don’t go to this WH. I was already septic about it because fast food is never worth the calories, but this was on another level. The waitress was great, but per usual, everything was so greasy and disgusting. The cooks messed up multiple orders (per the waitress) and of course, ours was messed up. They brought our food out and it was wrong and looked like a pile of grease on our plate. The cooks need to remember why they started cooking in the first place and serve food that they’d serve to their own family. What we got was not even good enough for my dog. They need to cook like they care a little bit. I saw them serving waffles that weren’t done at all. Don’t waste your money or calories for your day here. We’ll go to Cracker Barrel next time.
The food was hot, fast and delicious! Our server Madison was awesome!
To start, we love Waffle house. We just got home from our trip, which had us visit 8 states and 5 different waffle houses. Of them all... this one was not great. Waffle batter stuck all over the irons, our syrup was handed to us sticky with stuff all over it, and generally, the place was just not very clean. It took forever for them to clear tables for people to be seated and for service to occur. Our waitress was nice but everyone was moving in slow motion. Yes, they were busy but not any more than the other Waffle houses we visited, and they had the same number of staff. The food tasted fine, but wow... oh, and our clothes smellled of a greasy diner. This never occurred at the others. When changing last night they were offal.
Probably one of the best waffle house I've been too. It's clean friendly and no violence with your meal. There's no motels all around so no drug dealers and there customers just people eating
I really enjoyed my breakfast date with my son here! The staff was super friendly and the cooks were exceptional today!
I ordered the all-star breakfast! It came with 2 eggs scrambled, raisin toast with apple butter, grits, 3 pieces of bacon, and a pecan waffle. My son ordered the kids chocolate chip waffle and it cam with 2 pieces of bacon. We both thoroughly enjoyed our waffles. The waffles are huge the size of the plate! The fluffy eggs were cooked just right and the grits were the best I'd ever had! So creamy and just the right temperature!
We highly recommend eating here for breakfast! There is just something about the southern hospitality from the time you walk into the door.
Restaurant is very over populated some days not large enough to service the amount of customers that come and in an effective manor. Food was good would be 5 stars but it was a little on the Luke warm side for just coming off the grill. I've been to better wafflehouses.
The food was good for the most part, the eggs were not quite as dippy for being sunny side up but still not bad. I ordered hash browns with cheese, onions and jalapenos but got ham instead of the onions. The server was very nice and friendly. Another person with us had something on their order messed up as. Their bacon was overcooked and pretty salty tasting. Other than that the food came out fast enough.
Its waffle house.... say no more.... where you can fill your stomach with out breakin your wallet... the best value on a big breakfast.... and Lancaster is always a fun , chatty place, even if your just in for your morning coffee, OR a full plate. Best grits around, too!...
