I've been to this location a few times, always for breakfast. I have usually received good service. I stopped by for lunch on this visit and it was probably the worst experience I have had at a WH. This includes the time the entire staff was drunk at the LaPlace WH. There were 3 tables sat with 2 servers and a cook. I sat at the bar alone, made eye contact with every employee and then was completely ignored. When I didn't leave I received a big sigh from the young lady who had been watching me the entire time as she asked me if I wanted to order anything. None of the crew was speaking to each other. When the cook was done cooking he disappeared leaving the grill area destroyed. One server was on her phone behind the line and it was badly in need of cleaning. The other server was angrily doing dishes while spraying down the front counter where I was eating. No one said a word when I left. It was a very uncomfortable experience.
Its Waffle House....what more needs to be said? Cook everything to order and it was well made. Grits were smooth and not lumpy. Great place for good proteins and good service.

I think you are losing sales and opportunities with the new menu.
I've been going to waffle House since 1965 and the only thing that's changed are the small improvements made all along the way. Highly recommend their breakfast of which my favorite is eggs over easy, scattered and smothered, sausage plate. Meals like grandmother cooked. Cuz that's what it is.

I expressed how the waitresses and staff are hostile to eachother and that they barely make awaffle house environment worth eating at...and this was my response on a public forum.
I love this waffle house they have a good staff and Brooke A is an AMAZING employee!
The server was great. The cook tried but couldn't quite get the eggs right. The odor from the restrooms was obvious in the dining room. The trash/garbage cans were hanging from the menu holders on the tables. Weird ?
I love the Waffle House on George Oneal. Best location in our area.
