Came in wasn’t really greeted. Seem everyone was in they own world. Seen young lady so I asked where her section she laugh and pointed didn’t know if I said something funny I just wanted to sit cause she greeted when she seen me come around the other customers cause they didn’t know what they was doing to. We got our food grits was great eggs had cheese in it like I asked but the other egg's was supposed to be om they was over oe not the same got wrong waffle I order plain waffle with pecan. My steak was suppose too be mid well got well done. The other one supposed to be mid rare, got well done. I am not complaining I’m just saying listen to customers reply to them repeat and make sure when you bring it back out you do the same so you have it right to the end. I do this on a everyday basic in my job also.
great experience overall everyone was so nice and welcoming service 10/10 food 10/10 love this place. the Hispanic woman working cashier was very nice and patient and wonderful. the Asian worker cleaning the outside and the tables was also very hardworking nice and caring. Very wonderful women. These women that deserve a raise. The whole staff was wonderful
This place will be closed down very soon if not corrected!(⚠️ )Unsanitary!! The food itself is kept poorly, they do NOT clean properly first shift is the important part of opening. Yet I see managers and servers do absolutely nothing! But hide in the back leaving untrained cooks/server defending for themselves! Outrageous! Over hearing managers and veteran servers speaking poorly of each other when one look away the other is downing the next. How sad knowing the pay is Low very low. Cooks can work full shifts for 5 or 6 days and earn less than $300 per week that's "IF" MANAGEMENT PUT IN YOUR TIME! (which is against policy). In addition, Creating a hostile environment for individuals with disabilities is beyond unacceptable, I'm hurt to even witness such behavior! Yet the managers and the veteran servers pockets "who knows how much!??" The cooks are under PAID . Wondering why such "high turnover" ... ? I encourage all whom visits this store if you witness anything of non good things. Please call Corporate they care !

Five star review, typical waffle house experience. The drinks and food came fast and the server was responsive to our needs. Can't beat the price, they do what they do well!
New guy Will did awesome, despite the cook yelling at him over grits. It was a little disappointing to see the other 2 servers with their hands in a candy bag while he was being extremely attentive and trying so hard yet he was the one in training.
The waitress was very pleasant, so were the other workers on that 3 shift. But the cook knew the meat was burnt why would you stop mix it with the rest of the food. Just make more!!! Would you consider burnt sausage? ???? IDK but I would rather not, I didn't complain bc they were pleasant n I didn't want to mess up the moral for their shift so I just got a to go tray n left.
Portions are a little small for the price. Not to mention when you to go order the tip % is included with the price which no one ever mentions. Wasn’t worth the $30 for 2 meals would’ve been happier spending $5 less and going to Dunkin’ Donuts for breakfast portion size need to be on point too inconsistent for the price.
The waffle house on merrill rd. I've always have a great experience with the service and the food. I don't know what happened this morning at around 8:10 . Service as usual was great but the food...oh no.... was ir a new cook?? The bacon was awful and I love your bacon ,reason I always ask for extra. The bacon looked old ,the taste and texture like rubber was terrible as if it was leftover from last night. The waffle was thin and soggy,might as well call it a pancake. Got home and have been sick ever since. Tried to call but it only tells you to go online to order. No options to speak to a manager. So had to do it this way. I'm so disappointed. Now I'm afraid to visit again if the food is going to be that way you're going to have problems with your customers. I'm a regular and today was really awful
