Edit: Came in today, a Sunday. It was busy and there was a whole line of people waiting, an older woman cut us all in line and one of the staff told her she could sit and the rest of us had been waiting in line for a seat for quite a bit. I’m really disappointed, ended up leaving.
Been coming to this location shortly after it opened, the best one there is. Food is always on point and the staff is great.
I’d like to give it a 5 because waffle houses are great, but we sat down at the counter, immediately asked if we were here for takeout, and we said “uh no, can’t we sit at the counter? Lol” and then it took literally 5-7 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge we were there (they may have just gotten a rush of orders so I understand) so then they asked for our drink order and we said 2 decaf coffees and after a bit the guy said “sorry, we can’t find any decaf” haha so we ended up just leaving. What sort of diner doesn’t have decaf coffee especially one that is open 24/7 for those that just want taste of coffee without caffeine?
Service was top shelf (Prompt, friendly, and accommodating) for my wife and I, dining-in, and a quick side fixing of Bacon and Eggs for our little “Wah-weo” dog “to-go.”
Waffles were hot and fluffy. Texas Bacon Cheesesteaks were amazing. My wife got a Ham and Cheese Omelette, and loved it.
CocaCola was mixed perfectly!!!! Ice cold, and straws were provided without asking. Just a great meal even among many Waffle House visits coast to coast. One of the Best, of the Best⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
There’s a new manager here who has been wonderful!!! The store is looking a lot cleaner and service is improving a lot as well. The food of course is amazing! I love their biscuits and gravy! My kids love the chocolate chip cookies waffles
You can tell the wait staff love their jobs. They are chipper, efficient, and super friendly. This place was packed to the gills and the eight servers didn't miss a beat. It was actually incredible to watch, organized chaos.
Their food never disappoints, straight up comforting diner food. It warms your soul.
Bathrooms were super clean!
We had a to go order. My husband went into this location and ordered. We knew it would be a little bit, but we did not expect sitting for over 30+ min and our order not even being called. There was one of two waitresses that asked about the to go order (wasn't even the one who took our order). No one responded/answered her. We left.
This is not the first time we have had to wait 30+min for even just waffles, let alone anything else. This was our last straw with this location, unfortunately. We will not be back.
To note, there were 2 waitresses and 1 Cook about 700 PM on a Saturday even.
We did end up going to the next location just south an exit and didn't wait 3 min before our order was placed, called, started cooking, and paid for. In and out the door in 10 min.
This location is always a great experience! The staff is friendly and connects with patrons like they were family. The waffles are perfection as always! It is a tiny location so finding seating when it’s busy is sometimes tricky, but the atmosphere is close knit and charming.
Great people, good food, and best place if you want food fast but not fast food. Not a five-star restaurant, but you always know what to expect, and the staff here has always been friendly toward my friends and I.
