They’ve opened back up 24 hours . I’m not sure why it still have them listed as closed . They can’t answer the phone but you can place online orders & they’ll get it. Night server was by himself but he served us quickly & food was great! Highly recommend.
The cook that was on duty May 23rd at 9:00 p.m. Is absolutely the best. I didn't get their name. They've been on duty before when we've been there and they are the absolute best cook.
The food is absolutely perfect when that cook is on duty.
That evening, the staff consisted of two young men and an older woman. They worked well together. The cook had so many orders to make, and he was unfazed.
The young man who took my to go order had a pleasant demeanor and was interesting. Overall a great experience.
Very friendly waitresses at this Waffle House. Ham n Cheese omelette, coffee, grits, and bacon, all good. The hash browns, well they didn’t get that quite right. My sister asked for jalapeños and ended up with onions. One classy thing, the sheriff used to eat here every day and recently passed away. They had a commemorative chair where he sat everyday.
We (4 party) showed up at 11pm, there were 2 customers and 3 staff when we got seated. The waitress was polite, though we each had to repeat what we wanted 3 times before she understood. She was efficient. The food came and was great all around. Not a single complaint from anyone. The restaurant itself was clean and remarkable tiny. Not many people are fitting in there.
I'm really ready for someone to mop the floors, just once. I come in and always have a dirty table or dirty seat. The food is good. I do change my waitress if they have loose hair. I pulled a very long strand out of my mouth once while eating. Let's just say it took a long time to go back
There were only two other tables seated when we walked in. We sat down and got our drinks almost immediately from waitress number one, but from that point on the service sucked. Waitress number two comes over after about 25 minutes and asks what we'll have, we both say, "we haven't even seen a menu yet". But my boyfriend knows what he wants already before she hands over the menu and asks if it's still available. The waitress is acting impatient, so I just said, just give me the pumpkin spice waffle. We waited another 15 minutes and a third waitress brings his food, but nothing for me. He had almost eaten his whole meal and I still have nothing, so waitress number three walks by again and he asks her have they started making my waffle, she says I don't know and walks away. We waited another 10 minutes and I looked at my boyfriend and told him that if they didn't have the waffle out to me by the time he was done eating, they could just take it off the bill. He looked up and said that it was coming now. Waitress number three never apologized for my food being so late, she never even refilled our drinks. The reason we never saw waitress number one anymore is she was a trainee. It was shift change time so, waitress number two was busy counting her cash drawer. Waitress number two and three even got into an argument while we were there, it was very unprofessional. After all the time I waited for the waffle, I didn't like it, it didn't taste done in the middle. I won't order another one. This was a very disappointing experience.
