To everyone who visits this waffle house during that 10-7 Shift this is the place to go, I met these lovely ladies. Shannon, Michelle, And Fellisa. For offering me the best service and the best table conversations! Great job waffle house

STILL a repeat customer. . . .

The staff is friendly. Waiter is great and service is fast. Food is delicious, the coffee just right and the cooks do a GREAT job. Whether it's early in the day or at night, we have had a good experience each time.

We had a very young, inexperienced waitress. She took my order and left the table and had to have someone call out the order to the cook. She then came back and took my husbands order. When she brought our coffee cups to the table, she held them up near the rim. She then brought my meal out and about 6 minutes before bringing my husband's meal out.

Also, there was a broom and a pile of trash and empty coffee creamer containers in the middle of the floor near our seats that was left there the entire time we were in the restaurant. Also, my husband asked to see the extended menu that had additional choice on it, and he was told the Corporate office didn't allow them to have an extended menu. My husband told them all the other Waffle House Restaurants he goes to has and will bring the extended menu to the table. He ordered the T-Bone Steak from the menu they said they didn't have. He also ordered a salad. The guy at the counter said Waffle House hasn't had salads since 2019. My husband gets a salad every time he goes to any other Waffle House when he gets the steak.

We had not been to the Waffle House on San Jose Blvd in Jacksonville, Florida, in about 6 years and will not be going back there again.

What I really like about Waffle house is the ability to see your dish being prepared. It's got a small town feel, and employees and customers all act like neighbors with pleasant greetings and small talk. Food, of course is delicious. I subtracted a star for cleanliness. Counter wasn't cleaned where I sat, "To Go" sign was dirty and some of the napkin holders had visible corrosion. Small things, but I try to give honest reviews. Having said that, I will definitely be returning. The service was great and the head cook kept his stations neat at all times.

I love Waffle House! This particular WH has a fantastic cook and super nice servers! We were fortunate to have Melissa as our server on our last visit and she was AWESOME! The food was great! The service was great! I am always in a great mood when I leave WH!

Jax may not be like New York (the city that never sleeps), but having 24hr convenience at Waffle House really comes in handy for late night munchies (in our case, after a show downtown). Especially considering how hard the food service industry has been impacted by Covid! You certainly cannot consider WH for fine-dining, but for comfort food it does fine. It's like an equivalent to a "Greasy Spoon" cafe in London, but even those don't open 24 hours a day. The 4 stars is for post-midnight dining ...I can't say I'd go to WH during the day when other local choices are open.

I love me some waffle house breakfast. But as usual, everybody who Works, there is too busy on their phones to make sure the food is right or counters get cleaned off. I tipped well because I always do but that's what you get
