I ordered the biscuits and gravy (actually it was a single biscuit) and the advertised strawberry waffle with whipped cream on top. The best part of the meal was the biscuit and gravy. It was better than what I’ve had at most restaurants, but the biscuits and gravy at Pilot Flying J is still significantly better. For the strawberry waffle, I thought it was a little too mushy (I prefer a more spongy waffle). And the whipped cream wasn’t really cream, but rather a whipped topping that melts into a slightly milky but almost translucent liquid. The truth is, it wasn’t a bad meal. I’ve had much worse. But I’ve also had much better. I had expected top quality food when I walked in, and I was a little disappointed.
The service and atmosphere was exactly what I had expected. Based on the service and atmosphere I would return to this Waffle House. But I would perhaps explore something else on the menu.
Food was ok.. not great.. what threw me off was the 5 mice I seen running around inside... made me get up an leave.. before I left. I pointed it out to the crew.. they said management is aware and won't do anything about it.
They really need a leader who will do the job correctly.Everythng was not good. And as bad as I wanted to go on a date with my husband. I can make my own breakfast at home. And when I sent the food back. I still have cold food now to eat with my hash browns. That won't be raw now. It really was a terrible experience. The sad part is I have twenty years to waffle house. And I would never treated my customers like the manager did.
This Waffle House is very clean and the workers are friendly and professional. The food is pretty standard Waffle House food. The outstanding part of this visit, the most important thing at any restaurant, was that our waitress actually brought me as many pickles as she was willing to give me (my exact request). No server has ever brought me exactly what I asked for when it comes to pickles, lemon wedges, etc. This is now my favorite Waffle House.
Had Breakfast here on a friday morning and it had to be one of the friendliness encounters ever at a Waffle House ever. I think everyone spoke to my wife and I every time they walked by us and even the cook interacted with us while we sat at the bar top. They may have had the allstars all there at one time for my experience but it was a nice experience for us.
Paula and Natalee was so friendly and gave my husband and I such AWESOME service. We came in on Friday night Jan.26, 2024. Paula cook our food to perfection and Natalee went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed for our meal. Continue to be great night shift at #697‼️????
Took family to eat dinner after catilion, sat down and Noone even acknowledged us...1 waiter walked out and left...1 was washing dishes and 2 were cooking....we waited 8 min. And Noone ever said anything to us so we finally walked out.....this is horrible
I went here yesterday. Called my order in for there I was told my food just came off the grill. My food was over done which I don’t like. My harsh browns were not hard like I asked, waffle was fine but my angus bacon burger bun was hard & bacon was black & burnt more than what I am used to. If I do return I will be checking my food on the way out .
