Worse waffle house customer service. Line to be seated...empty tables not cleaned..disorganized staff not serving customers. Food served without utensils.. took 5 min to get waitress attention to get apple butter for my raisin toast (2 other customers had same issue). Coffee never refilled...waitress never checked on any customers...just dropped off the check without asking if you wanted anything else. NO ONE GREETED CUSTOMERS ENTERING STORE.
The waite staff are always friendly, courteous, and attentive. I've been going there for years and rarely if ever had a bad visit. Anything bad I've experienced has been not being able to finish my food. Great place, and good people.
This is the best Waffle House that I have ever been to. And I've been patron for over three decades. This place is always clean, efficient, and the food is always perfect. The best part is the staff... They take their job very seriously. I love treating myself to this particular store.
Came in today, 2/29/24. Upon being seated we waited for our server (the blonde one, not brunette) who then came to our table and just stood there. No conversation, no greeting, nothing. Finally after basically a stare down she asks what we would like. We ordered our food. Both drinks, both cheessteaks, no onions. And we wait. The entire time the food is cooking she never brings us our drinks. Her and the manager are chit chatting the entire time while she's just rolling silverware. She finally brings the food, still no drinks then finally realizes the mistake. She drops drinks, literally on the table and just walks away. We then discover both steaks, have onions. Frustrated and realizing we would get no where we ate the food while picking off the onions. So then we basically finish the meal before she comes back for the 1st refill check. She refills then disappears again just to appear, drop off check with out a word and then gone again. No smiles, no thank yous and a "have a nice day" from the other server. No eye contact or smiles or contact at all from the manager who walked past our empty table several times while our food was being cooked and talking back and forth across the restaurant. Very sad to see what it's become.
Love the food at waffle house. And the atmosphere is always great. U see very interesting people when you go there late at nite. The cheesesteak hashbrown bowl add egg is so freaking good. And fills you up. I order it every time I go.
Food was OK. Ordered the All-Star Special (White Toast, Two eggs over medium, grits, two sausage patties and a waffle). With some coffee. Yeah, eyes were bigger than my stomach.
Eggs were slightly over done on too hot a surface. Waffle was not done enough. Grits were mash and the sausage… well, it was sausage. Too hot of a surface again not completely cooked.
Toast and coffee was good though. And the jelly.
My son and I went this morning I wish we'd gone to McDonald's but I thought we'd get some real food it was $25 for two sandwiches with hash browns and one drink the food was very light meaning not much there tasted good but the price for what you get is so off. And the absolute worst part when I was trying to figure out the price and why it was so high they charge for you to take out during a time of colvid that's ridiculous who charges you a takeout fee when there's coping okay so what you mean is you want everybody to eat in and get sick I got you. Food's good amount's not great prices bad and ethically I don't think you should charge for takeout during covid think about it.
great, casual place for a late-night breakfast. the waffles are the staple item here. i had the chocolate chip waffle- exactly what i needed for my midnight breakfast craving. they also have breakfast platters with eggs, toast, hashbrowns, and protein. service is quick and staff is friendly, always makes the experience better!
