2/10/24. Orders including the blacked tuna, Creamsicle cocktail, alligator bites and pasta (I forgot the name). The food and service was really good, no complaints.
The sushi was divine! The Old Towne Crunch roll was phenomenal, as were the Bagel Roll & Philly Roll. Lovely presentation as well. Husband got the Clobster sandwich & fries & said it was awesome. We decided to get the Gator Bites on a whim & I am SO GLAD we did, they were delicious! I was expecting them to be chewier, but they were tender & the breading was perfect, plus that remoulade was out of this world. Our server Alex A was excellent. He was attentive without hovering & took very good care of us. This is such a cool building as well, & a great atmosphere for a rainy day lunch. :)
First time here and also last time.server was great; very sweet and helpful. However, the food was mediocre at best, especially for the price. The crab dip was good but the pita was extremely salty, I liked how they were homemade though. The rolls were falling apart& display was sloppy. One of the women making the rolls ,had a mask “on” (just over her mouth, not her nose. when it was “on”)was coughing and not even attempting to cough away from the food. She only wore the mask occasionally, most of the time she was seen with the mask below her chin. She also was eating while actively making the rolls, as in crumbs on her face , chewing with her mouth somewhat closed. Then,it took us almost an hour to get 3 rolls..& to top it off,my partner found a bone in his sushi. If you’re desperate, maybe try it out. But there’s definitely better spots you could spend your money. $61 for mid rolls and crab dip that could’ve been spent elsewhere where& enjoyed it.
Horrible sushi, horrible sashimi. NOT FRESH AT ALL DONT EAT IT!!!!!! The waitress didn’t pay attention to the order, gave me smoke salmon instead of the sake salmon, replaced it and still charged for full price. I thought it’s replacement but they actually charge me for another order, it’s ridiculous. There’s a black spot on the tuna, it is disgusting. I hope I don’t get diarrhea later.
Always looking for a good sushi place and found one. I highly recommend Wabi-Sabi. I know one sushi roll was Mango Bliss, the other I think was Volcano Roll. We will return!
I usually don’t do negative review like this but I really did not enjoy my experience at this restaurant. Normally when you want sushi, there’s a nice peaceful vibe to enjoy your meal in. This was not the case when I came. After sitting down, there was like some kind of live band in the basement. Our food took really long to come and after it came I had to send it back for the order not being right. The silver ware was extremely dirty so I only chose to eat with chopsticks. The drinks were really expensive and did not have that much alcohol in it. Honestly felt like I was drinking Sunny D. My wife and I doubt that we will be returning.
The food was fantastic. Only roll we ordered that was just OK was the spicy tuna. The service was very good.
First time at Wabi-Sabi, my new favorite place. The presentation of the food was excellent, compliments to the chef, Tempura, Sabi, Smoked Salmon and Ahi Tuna rolls were mind blowing good. We enjoyed the Fuji Apple and Peach Blossom Sake. We had two servers and they were both excellent, Christopher stood out more so, he was so accommodating we thought he was Management. And the price for everything was value added for how much we ordered.
