Didn't have a great first experience. The barber answered two phone calls during my cut and when they used a straight razor they didn't apply shaving cream or any pre shave product to my skin. For $35 a cut I'd expect a flawless experience. The barber also suggested cutting the top of my hair shorter even though the top came out borderline too short for the style I showed him. I had to say no instead of him seeing that.
If I could recommend anyplace for a haircut, it's this barber shop. Shaun gave me an incredible haircut! He always gets it done the best way he can and I always look great afterwards. Definitely would recommend this shop to everyone in the Albany area.
This place is top quality. The wait was a little long, but well worth it. It's definitely a welcoming atmosphere. I had a good conversation with the owner and he's very personable. I'll be back soon for another cut. (I think it's moving to Madison Ave)
I’ve been coming to W & H for a year now. These two are great. Old world style barbershop in modern times.
Husham is great, friendly, and pays attention to detail.
They are not a zip, zip, next babershop. I love that my haircut takes 45 minutes. I come out looking great. I’ve never had a complaint.
This place does a solid haircut. Never had much of a wait for a chair either. Always personable and professional. Charges $25 for a cut too, which isn't a bad rate in these parts. But would recommend cash if you go, as there is a mark up for cards.
This place is hands down best barber in Albany. Clean, professional, friendly, and amazing hair cuts. Husham does an amazing job, ask for him!
Great haircuts for a good price with friendly staff.
Came in at 1 left at 1:20 with a great cut. Had any first straight edge shave and really enjoyed it. Husham does great work
