Have taken my car here for 4-4.5 years. My only regret is that I didn't start coming sooner. The mechanics know what they're doing, and they're honest. The owner, Bob, probably saved me several thousand dollars in the course of my time going here. They don't perform unnecessary fixes, and when there's a cheaper workaround, they're happy to do that instead. All in all, the best place I've ever taken my car. Friendly, helpful, respectful. Be decent to them, and they'll be decent to you.
I have been using Ripka since about 2006, and he is the only garage in the area who hasn't tried to rip me off. Bob's knowledge is unsurpassed, and he stands behind his work. Is this a dealer? Hell no, but you don't pay dealer prices, either. I'm a pretty fair mechanic myself, and I bring my cars to Ripka because I don't have the time, with two kids and three jobs. Bob has gone above and beyond on several occasions, including driving me to help push my wife's car out of the middle of the road, then working overtime to get things fixed. I have no idea what the negative review here did to deserve the treatment he says he got, but I'm certain that he copped an attitude, because my experience is completely different. I have had Ripka work on my older cars dozens of times, so I have a lot of data to draw conclusions from. Could I have gotten more "professional" service from a dealer? Sure, at ten times the cost, perhaps, but I doubt it. Most dealers in the area have ripped me off at one time or another over the last 25 years. Your mileage may vary, but either my money goes to Ripka or I fix it myself.
I took my car to this place based on Google reviews. However, they have done a terrible job on my car and charged me $100 more than we agreed on. They changed my cars bearings but damaged both passenger and driver side speed sensors! When I took my car back and asked them to fix it, they told me I have to pay for it (damage that they caused for)!! Finally, I decided to take my car to another mechanic that's when I learned they couldn't replace the passenger side bearing!!! My advice, Stay Away from this place!
Great place to go. Might have to take your car back a few times but the pot is good. They also offer after hours you can stop by their house after hours to get your drug of choice. Will ripka ur the mam. Just look for the house with the blue tarp on it behind walmart headed to the airport
Good prices, great service and communication, and very helpful. The owner was extremely flexible with my busy schedule and took the time to answer my questions.

They don't rip you off or try to fail your inspection to get repair money from you.
