Great knowledgeable garage. Had my Caddy in for a service and they did everything they could to get me back on the road quickly for work. After being beholden to main dealers before, it’s nice to find people who know what they’re doing.

Johnny, Trevor and Lisa very kindly got me back on the road after a problem with my VW Polo. Everyone at VWX goes way above and beyond to help and I would not hesitate to recommend them.
Asked VWX to investigate a coolant leak in my 7.5 Golf R. They booked me in really quickly. The team were super helpful, informative and took the time to really dig into the history, etc. After all the diagnostic work, with no repair to be made at this stage they charged me nothing. Absolutely brilliant service and I'll now be using them for all my VW group service and maintenance needs.
John and Trevor have fantastic knowledge on the Volkswagen products and can offer a great service. If you have any problems with your vehicle save time and money by going here first. Just had my car in for servicing, spot on job at less than half the price of the dealer, very happy.

Called VWX on friday with a problem to possibly my camshaft on a Passat. Spoke with Johnny and he said if i could get it to him he would have a 'listen' and advise me. Absolutely top top top man. He told me he couldnt do the work, as he is so busy but his advice was 1st class. The reason he is busy is..... he is an absolutely genius i suspect. If your in Hexham area ,you will be stupid not to use him.
Great service from friendly and very experienced staff. I took my car in with various engine management problems and they told me it would be approx 1 week before they could get to it. Decided to leave it with them and the next day I got a call to say it was fixed. They had had a cancellation so saw to mine. Fantastic service and it turned out that the potentially very expensive fault was actually a relatively inexpensive sensor. They are one of the best garages in the Hexham area and take time to explain what issues they find and exactly what they are going to do to locate and fix any problems. I would recommend them to anyone and will definitely use them again in the future.
