Do not use this garage as dangerous for mechanical work.
I employed them to look at Fiat 500 which I had bought from a dealer. They were told of extensive AA report on car and breaks needed total repair.
Paid an enormous amount to repair car to discover rear breaks not repaired and not sure if other work paid for done,
I was involved in accident where rear brakes failed.
Volante have ignored communication for refund on work not done.. now Court Action,...Beware.
Fantastic garage! I have been using them for years, they offer free collection and delivery for customers to suit your own schedule, which is a massive bonus and makes the process a lot easier.
They also managed to fix electrical issues that another 2 garages couldn't.
Great customer service and no job is too small. Would highly recommend!
I’ve been using MEB for my much loved mini for many years and now they have left Crouch End they collect and return the car which is even better. Recently I was in an accident and Pep was wonderful. I even rang him from the scene! He advised me on how to deal with insurers and later on my purchase. It’s got a warranty so I feel kind of sad I won’t be seeing the MEB guys for a year as no need for my usual MOT and service this December! Thanks for great customer service.
Took my car in yesterday as my brakes were making a metallic noise that was continuing after braking. They looked over the car shortly after I left and then called to say that it was due to a rust build up after a lack of use and advised I drove more to reduce the rust. When I picked up the car they told me there was no cost. Brilliant service and wholly trustworthy, I have been using them for years and will continue to do so.
Took in my car after a breakdown, had to deal with back and forth for a month and problem not fixed even after payment. Excuse after excuse - mechanic meant to fix my car is never in and seems no one else can do it. No clue how to run a business worst service I’ve ever had.
I rang this garage in desperation for advice after hearing a number of conflicting things re my car issue (I'd tried a number of places). The man who answered was really helpful with an exact understanding of the nature of the problem and the complexity of the decision making re what was right for my car. There was nothing in it for him as it concerned resolving a matter re somewhere else. I totally recommend the garage based on my experience. Thank you!
Friendly and helpful but, more importantly, competent and 100% reliable and trustworthy. Saved my car when insurance company tried to write off my car. It's so nice to know one can go to a garage and have peace of mind.
