I wish I could give no stars!! Where do I start? The doctor I spoke to here was one fine example of incivility if ever I encountered one! Like so much of today's NHS, the medical staff are in a crisis of compassion fatigue and burnout. The result? Rudeness, impatience, misdiagnosis, careless mistakes, apathy, and abject failure on their part to do their damn job. As the patient, I've seen this nonsense far too many times, and I've no faith whatsoever in the NHS as a whole. I have a number of serious health problems and each time I have needed treatment I have been failed time and again. I am looking into making some personal sacrifices to see if I can get a private healthcare plan as I feel after all I have suffered at the hands of incompetent NHS staff that for my own personal safety I need that. I don't feel safe in NHS treatments any more, due to how shocking the service has become. Third world healthcare in a first world nation.
Have to say when 111 sent me here I feared the worst after reading some of the reviews. Parking is fine providing you 1. park in the right car park (there are different car parks for other buildings )and 2. Enter your reg at reception. Got seen quickly and treated effectively. No complaints.
Outstanding service I received yesterday by Dr fadeyibi. He was amazing. He dealt with me in a good manner. I told him my symptoms on the phone and he called me in to see him within a hour. And he made my appointment with the ent next morning. Thank you so much for your help. I would recommend vo care to everyone
Thanks once again for your effort and support you showed me yesterday ????
Disgusting to be fair got an appointment from rake lane urgent care as I had literally a pain in the bum. Got to my appointment on time but still waiting half hour after my appointment even though it was dead. I got in to the room she then sat on Google most of the time wile asking me questions from there. She then got me on the bed and no word of a lie rammed her finger inside me. After all that sat back down and she told me there was nothing wrong with me but she will prescribe me with some pain relief cream. Prescription printer wasn't working so she wrote it down on a bit of paper and said I will be fine to get it over the counter. On my way I went thinking this is going to be the end of me sleeples nights with this pain I got to the pharmacy and the woman looked at me and said this cream was discontinued years ago and even if it wasn't I would need a prescription. I went to my actual gp today and explained all this and my problem. I can tell you now he never inserted a finger and found the problem straight away he also told me she shouldn't have done that at all. I am never ever going back to this place no matter how much pain I'm in. Stay well clear
Having had to visit to see an out of hours GP I was treat efficiently and with courtesy. The Doctor was wonderful. The security guard was very lovely and friendly, really went the extra mile making sure I got to my car safely in the early hours of the morning. I can't fault anyone who I came into contact with.
We attending an emergency appointment for our toddler, and received a parking fine. We provided our car registration at the reception where indicated. I would be grateful to be contacted by someone urgently but am unable to speak to anyone on the telephone.
As an emergency appointment, I saw a GP. It was a good consultation which concluded in a prescription being sent to a pharmacist and being advised that communications would be sent to my own GP for two separate referrals. So far so good. Then.....
The prescription stated the incorrect analgesia to what we agreed on so it was rejected by the pharmacist (I can not take the analgesia which was wrongly prescribed) so ended up buying less effective over the counter medication.
It gets worse.....
After 3 weeks of not hearing about any of the referrals, I contacted my GP surgery only to be told the referrals had not been requested!
Never will I attend for a GP appointment there again!
i was sent from urgent care from rakelane. an emergency appointment was seen as soon as i walked through the door from a Dr. got me straight on antibiotics and sent it to tesco 5mins away from where i live. put my reg in the tablet on the desk in the reception. first time going i cant say i had a bad experience
