Had a great time at Villa Villa for dinner. Was seated immediately upon entry and were waited on not too long after. The service and the atmosphere of the restaurant was excellent. The food was served hot and fresh and in a timely manner. Got the beef burrito entree with rice and beans and the “Mexican fries” as an appetizer. For the most part the food was great, only issues were the fries which were supposed to be loaded were loosely topped with cheese, bacon, and jalapenos, and the steak inside the burrito was a little overdone. Else to that, everything was on point; the free chips and salsas were great and the waitress was very accommodating. Would stop by again when in or around Thompson.
Lunch specials are amazing had the combination deal with 2 beef burritos black beans and rice and my beautiful bride had the taco salad. It was amazing and Amber the server was spectacular
The food was wonderful, the service was great very nice Inside have done alot work fixing the place
I would recommend for good food great service. One of if not the best in the Csra.
This was a nice restaurant right off the highway and extremely reasonably priced!!. The place felt local and had a great atmosphere. The salsa was delicious, the right amount of spice and consistency. The food was delicious. I had Shrimp, Steak, and chicken covered in cheese on top of rice. I will definitely be stopping here when I'm in town again!
The food here is pretty good. I had tilapia with rice and pico de gallo. The fish had a garlic sauce on it that was very good and a mild kick to it. My friend had a steak and chicken burrito with refried beans and rice. We also had desserts, which was fried cheesecake and the fried chips. They were also good.
Online it shows a reservation was required but I actually didn’t need one. Our server was very friendly but I think maybe she was working multiple sections. It took a while to get anything we needed. They may have been understaffed as well. I would visit this restaurant again. The workers were friendly and the food had great flavor and it was prepared fresh. The prices are just right. I can see on a busy night were parking could be an issue. They have a parking lot but it’s not a very big one.
Best corn chips and salsa. I finished the basket of chips by myself and that could've been my dinner.
Their food is great. The server said chef is Mexican????
I ordered the Agave special. It has rice topped with cheese I think, caramelized onion, green pepper, grilled shrimp, strips of beef and grilled chicken.
I am not used to rice with cheese , so I only ate the meats and veggies. Next time I will order a Java rice and won't have the cheese on it.
My friends all said their order were great too. So I will be back.
Enjoyed this surprising gem off I-20. We stopped in on a Friday night to avoid sitting on traffic. They had an extensive menu with some interesting and tasty items. The Villa dip is a must-try. We had a steak dish (Colorado rice) that was nicely presented and tasty with the sauce. Nacho cheese burritos (with red sauce) is another recommendation.
It was a busy evening and kitchen was backed up but the server kept us topped off with plenty of chips and dip.
This is a family run place and appears to be a popular one for the locals, and now occasional travels traveling the highway near Augusta
The salsa is amazing ???? I loved the steak chimichanga but def wasn't a fan of the rice or refried beans
