Excellent centrally-located Italian restaurant in Geneva with a menu focusing on regional dishes that rotates every month. Great selection of pizzas as well as dishes of the day. The staff are very welcoming and attentive. The wine selection is quite good. The decor is simple and elegant with a mix of regular and high-seated tables. The presentation of the dishes is also simple and elegant, providing for a sophisticated feel. All of the above make for a great dinning experience.
I went for lunch for this review. I started with a bruchetta that came with tomatoes, melted bufala cheese and anchovies that was extremely tasty with all toppings on a lovely crusted bread that came right out of the pizza oven. I followed with the dish of the day which was rigatoni enveloped in a creamy pecorino cheese sauce elevated with cracked black pepper. The pasta was perfectly al denté and the sauce quite zingy. Finally there was desert, which was a variation on an apple crumble - a must try, it came as a chocolate shell shaped like an apple nestled on a bed of crumbles and with a delicate custard filling inside.
All in all, this is a great place to have lunch with friends or colleagues. It is best to reserve in advance, it can get quite busy specially at lunch time. And with the rotating menu, you truly get to enjoy a gastronomical journey through Italy every time you come back, fully justifying the restaurant’s name. There are a lot of Italian restaurants in Geneva, but is among my favourites and ranks among the best.
Ho avuto il piacere di cenare più volte al Ristorante Visitaly ed è stata una continua conferma. L'atmosfera è accogliente, il personale cordiale, disponibile e attento. Il menù creativo e la presentazione dei piatti un' autentica opera d'arte.
In particolare ho assaggiato tartare di gamberi viola, linguine al ragù di scampi, prosciutto e melone. É stata un'esperienza culinaria straordinaria. Gli ingredienti freschi e di alta qualità, dal sapore semplicemente delizioso.
Consiglio vivamente il Ristorante Visitaly, in particolare se si ha la nostalgia o la voglia di sentirsi in Italia. Ottimo posto per trascorrere una serata speciale!
Da quando siamo entrati fino alla fine della cena ci siamo sentiti come a casa ! Il ristorante e’ in una bellissima zona vicino alla città vecchia e molto centrale . Abbiamo provato le ottime pizze e anche un risotto pere e cioccolato eccellente! Ci hanno offerto digestivo e anche dei piccoli gelati al torrone! Consigliato a chi ama i sapori della cucina italiana (ogni mese c’è un menu basato sulle cucine regionali ) e a tutti quelli che amano piatti buoni e con ingredienti di qualità. I prezzi sono in linea con i prezzi svizzeri ma e’ un’esperienza da fare! E da rifare. Ci sono anche panettoni di qualità in vendita
I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the restaurant Visitaly in Geneva. Centrally located next to Plainpalais square, the Bastions Parc and the opera theatre, this restaurant offers regional Italian food with focus on two different regions every month. I had delicious special of the day beet gnocchi. The desserts were good and very creative. Price is a bit expensive but location and quality of service & food make up for it.
Da buon italiano in visita all'estero, non potevo esimermi dall’intraprendere questa esperienza. Ottima la compagnia, così come ottima è stata la location. Un'atmosfera serena, minimale e rilassante. Si è respirato l'aria di casa, vuoi per la giovialità e la disponibilità dello staff, vuoi per il cibo, vuoi per gli schermi che trasmettevano le immagini riferite al cinema di Alberto Sordi e Totò. Un plauso a tutti, uno in particolare a Gianni che riesce a sfornare perle in forma di pizza. Avanti così.

Todo muy limpio y elegante.
El servicio super simpático, camareros serviciales, que vienen cuando lo necesitas porque están atentos.
La comida sin esperas, platos bien presentados, todo lo que probamos muy delicioso, y de calidad.
Tengo que añadir que la carta de este restaurante cambia todos los meses.
Es un privilegio poder probar platos diferentes cada mes.
Por cierto cuando termina tu cena te sirven un delicioso café con helado que está riquísimo !
Recomiendo este restaurante.

Un des meilleurs restaurants italiens dans lequel j’ai pu manger ! Les produits sont frais, bio et de bonne qualité ce qui donne d’excellents plats. Le service était aussi irréprochable et la gérante était aux petits soins avec nous, un grand merci à elle et à son équipe !
Già appena entrati si respira aria italiana con il personale molto cordiale che ti fa sentire a casa.
Il cibo e la sua qualità è ottima e le pizze molto originali con un impasto molto leggero con farine biologiche OTTIME, io ne ho anche potuta ordinare una fuori menù con salsiccia e patata viola una cosa unica!!!
Si vede l’attenzione e la cura impiegata nella cucina.
È un posto tranquillo che consiglierei a ogni mio amico, facile da trovare,in una bella via ed il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo!
