I have taken my vehicles to Chuck over at Virginia import performance for many years and is hands down the only mechanics I trust to touch our fleet vehicle or any of our personal vehicles. He does great quality and honest repairs at a price much cheaper than most of the surrounding shops if not all. Doesn't sugarcoat anything and gets it done and for the most part every quote is pretty much dead on with what the repair will end up being. I recommend Mr Chuck and crew to all of my friends that are in need of any type of vehicle repair. By the way all of my vehicles for the most part are domestic minus One import and he can service any of them.
I don’t recommend anyone to this repair shop . I guess it depends on who you are on how they treat you. I was recommended by someone to repair my jaguar. I thought maybe it was my imagination when I got work done there before and my brakes felt the same way he said that’s how new brakes are supposed to sound. Ok. In July of this past year I started having issues with my car running hot. Took it back to him said he would do diagnostic got my car back same problem. I called back to ask exactly what did you do to my car. Long story short he said he flushed the radiator and added coolant. I end up taking it to another mechanic and he said he never put it on the machine to see what was wrong because it would’ve came up with what the problem was. Call back and Brandon answered the phone and I guess he seen my phone number on the caller id and answered with a bad tone asking me what do I want. I wanted to speak to Chuck to voice my concerns and Brandon was very rude. I would not recommend anyone to come to this shop. I see all these great reviews but I definitely was not treated the same way. I will be reporting this company to the bbb.
Chuck was very professional and honest. He committed to fixing my automobile & met his deadline. He stayed within the amount he quoted for the repair. I haven’t had any problems with my vehicle since he worked on it. Definitely will continue to take my vehicles to him for repairs and maintenance.
Im kind of a picky guy when it comes to money and trust. I try to get my own experience first hand rather than just taking ones word. Called these guys to work on my truck but needed to drop it off before they opened. They made arrangements to be there early and gave me an out the door price and time it would be complete. Cut me a deal to keep me within the budget i had set aside for the project. Called me when the truck was finished which was 30 minutes of original puck up time. Price was to the penny of what was discussed and job was done very neat an professional. I didn't have dirty fingerprints and smudge marks all over my vehicle like has happened other places. This says a lot since my vehicles always go to the dealer for work / servicing. Unfortunately the dealer doesn't do custom exaust. Being a business owner of 21 years, i understand references mean a lot as well as the fact that pleasing everyone is impossible. With that being said, i will recommend these guys to all my customers, family, friends. Thank you and i have already had many compliments on what you did on my truck.
V.I.P. one word WOW! They go above and beyond. I own several cars from rotary, to piston drive. Chuck and his crew have worked on all of them. From mechanical questions just being help, to exhaust, suspension, transmission work, and tuning. They go above and beyond. I had my exhaust done at a very reputable shop and got rapped almost $300!! The worst part was it was still not right. .25" smaller diameter than I asked for. Chuck, and his crew took all the old pipping off, Added Vband clamps, and replaced it with some of the cleanest welds I've seen. They also allowed me to paint it while it was on the rack all for less than half the price of the other shop. I come to V.I.P for anything I can not do myself very knowledgeable staff, and very friendly. I am confident enough to tell all my friends give them a shot. 5***** no doubt on that. All these negative comments are probably from people with trash vehicles who don't know how to work on them.
He’s currently working on my Toyota now, Brandon is a great mechanic and gets the job done fast while being quick!!! If your in our area stop by, you won’t be disappointed!!
On my way to my boyfriend’s viewing in Lawrenceville, my car started to slow down and run hot on the highway. I got of the nearest exit and pulled into the shop. I didn’t know what to do or how I was going to make it on time to the ceremony. I was crashed and A crying mess!! I explained my situation to the owner and he I shirred me that he could fix the truck in 30 minutes. He actually ended up fixing it a little faster than that I couldn’t thank him enough. I made it in time with plenty of room to spare!!! Wonderful service!!
Chuck was very professional and the shop did great work. Only place to take an old Volvo. Honesty and good customer service is rare, get both here.
