It's your typical ma and pop restaurant. We had breakfast. I ordered pancakes (they come in a order of 3) home fries and bacon. My husband had pancakes, home fries, 2 eggs and toast. And both of us had coffee. Everything was really good. Would definitely visit again. Very friendly atmosphere. Our bill was 21.00 and some change.
Seems like VIP'S is back on business after numerous times trying to get help after the government chinese cooties. Couple of good cooks, along with two friendly waitresses, yes that's plural 2. Unbelievable great food. I'd post a picture but Mr. Two plates(sometimes three) ate it.

Seriously, this is a no frills place. But it's as traditional a dirty spoon, roadside Cafe that you'll find anywhere. Simple menu, great friendly service, and a hometown feel. It's very popular for the locals.
Get the gravy. Its out of this world good. Any of the platters are great, recommend the country fried steak. Lovely portions with great value.
My goodness! We are visiting from Central Indiana and we wish we could find a place like this at home. The biggest fluffiest biscuit I think I've ever had! And cooked to perfection with a crispy bottom. We will be back.

All I ever got was coffee. Food never came so I paid for my coffee and left.
