The Vinton County airport has been here for many years. So much history. Always enjoyed the cool events that on here. It really brings a small town alive. You can set up a flight tour here as well or a special event.
Went for a plane ride here with my boyfriend while visiting Hocking Hills. It was nothing short of amazing!
Our pilot was friendly, funny, and informative. The interior of the plane was perfect-straight out of the 1950's.
We did the hour ride and were able to go all the way to the Ohio River and learn more about the West Virginia border.
I always thought a private plane ride would be super corporate and formal, but this was relaxed and comfortable.
Definitely recommend for anyone while in the area.
They are doing the best they can with limited resources and a bunch of old time unwilling to change people running it. Cheap for hanger rental. That is if there are any available that the hanger queens aren't trying up
Went up on beautiful day in Nov 2021.Flight was from our children and grandchildren for ou 50th wedding anniversary. Pilot Harry 'John Wayne' Sowers was very good and enjoyable to fly with.

Close to Vinton County Airport, beautiful land, hills and nature. Great place for a cabin or retirement home.
