We arrived on Sunday for a hungover brunch. I had heard good things about the place and thought we should check it out. Our table ordered some English breakfasts and some pancakes, along with a side of "hash", some coffees and table water.
The water was room-temperature, which was a bad start. A bit of ice wouldn't hurt.
The full breakfasts were mediocre quality, with the eggs undercooked (you can see in my photo) across the board. The portions were small for the price and the bacon lacking crispiness, but otherwise it was alright.
My friend had asked for a simple swap of baked beans for anything else, and was told in no uncertain terms that the chef will not make swaps. His request was not unreasonable and could have easily been done in around 3 seconds, so we were disappointed that the chef refused to do so.
The "hash" was basically poorly sautéed potatoes with a few onions dotted about... not the crispy shredded potato hash brown we were hoping for.
Pancakes and fruit were very nice and the member of our party who ordered them was very pleased with her choice. The coffees arrived in Weck-brand glass jars which were not good at insulating our hands from the hot liquid inside... but once they cooled down enough to pick up they were nice.
Overall, we were left disappointed here in terms of quality and value for money. A few little changes and attention to detail could really go a long way in helping this place reach its potential.
Great brunch! The broccoli, cheese, potatoes and eggs is delicious! The avocado tostada is a must and the greek yogurt is tasty. The place is bug and great for both families and friends gatherings. The latte is good too. They have some great events and movie nights. Also a nice library:) They took long time to bring our food that is why I only giving them 4 stars. We will try again because we really love the place and the friendly waitress
I had the Eggs Benedict which was really nice! As far as Benedicts goes, I’m really pleased.

Had a great meal at Milkmade, delicious food accompanied by amazing milkshakes! The staff was friendly and the place have a good vibe. Comes highly recommended.

My partner and I had a fantastic meal this Saturday. 2 4 1 on selected drinks 6-8. Main meals were big portions and reasonably priced. Steak cooked perfectly. Puddings delicious and to top it off the staff were friendly, chatty and very good at their jobs! Could of stayed there all night drinking cocktails and listening to the awesome dj! Overall very surprised at how little such a nice night cost us. Will be visiting again soon!
Nice local place for brunch and coffee at very reasonable prices. We ordered eggs royale and fresh orange juice.
