Best KPortal Reviews
Pizza was awesome! Super fresh and the sauce is great. We got a large (which is HUGE) supreme without green peppers, a small cheese pizza and a medium margarita. This is our new go to place! Family owned business and a local gem!
We only came for ice cream but we'll be back to try the pizza! The service is awesome and it has a cool old school vibe that takes you back in time! I didn't notice a handicap accessible entrance. We'll be back to try the pizza!!!
Pizza was fresh and very good. Staff was helpful and pleasant. The pepperoni pizza was amazing although the Margarita pizza was lacking a little something, still good though. Maybe it needed a little more basil and seasoning.
We absolutely loved the breadsticks and garlic butter spread . That was a family favorite and we highly recommend.
Definitely will order again.
Would be nice of they would proactively have updated their name/info to make it clear they no longer make Pasties - literally half of their name. New Owners. Pizza was fine, nothing to write home about. Supreme felt like some kind of prank, with super thin falling apart crust and mountains of undercooked veggie topping, seemingly applied after cooking. Chicken BBQ was tough, and the sauce very tart/vinegar forward. Cheese severely lacking. Overall disappointed considering we drove 30 miles for the (nonexistent) pasties.
Without a doubt the best round pizza I have ever had! This pizza was literally perfect. I did order it well done. I only got 1 topping on each side and they were distributed evenly and plenty of them and there is plenty of cheese! The best part was the crust! Nice and crispy from the first bite to the last and that is very hard to do! Normally your first bite toward the center of the pizza is thin and the cheese and toppings just make it soggy! Not this pizza! You can tell by the lack of grease on the bottom of the box! 10/10 keep up the fantastic job Village!
We love this place. They have really good food - but REALLY good gluten free pizza AND cheese bread and you can't find that anywhere. And the staff is super nice!
Ordered and picked up pizza and cheese sticks! Absolutely delicious!! Service was great!! My new favorite pizza!!
This evening Saturday March 9th, 2024. I was there with my oldest daughter to purchase some of their freeze dried candy. We have been frequent customers since last year (2023) after we found out about their selection of freeze dried candies and spend quite a bit of money there weekly on them. We have five kids who really like freeze dried candies and my husband and I also enjoy them as well. Every time we have been in there we have always dealt with the young man who works the counter who has always been polite. The first time my Husband and I came in we purchased 30 bags of the freeze dried candy and told the young man that we have five kids who have all been asking us for freeze dried candy so we purchased 6 bags for each of our kids for Christmas. Since then we have been coming back regularly and buy between 7-14 bags each time. We've become regular customers. The last few times my husband went in for them and has always had a pleasant experience with the young man. Then today I visited to buy more with my daughter. We were looking at all the candy and deciding what we wanted and was asked by the same young man if we needed any help. I told him we didn't and were just there to buy candy. Once my daughter was holding 4 bags and I had 5 bags in my hands I wanted to see what all we had and make sure I had the right amount of what each of my kids were wanting and I didn't want to set them on the floor (that would be gross) so we walked to the very first table right there next to the display stand and I made piles of each candy and was just making sure I had all the ones I needed it's important to mention that the young gentleman was standing right there the whole time watching us/looking our way nothing bad at all just doing his job and making sure we probably didn't end up needing help and just as I was finishing up going through them with my daughter I heard what I thought was someone say "hey"and I looked up to see if they were talking to me and there was an older man who came from the back now standing next to the younger gentleman and the older man says "Yes are you buying all of those!" Not in a funny or just curious type of way either but in a demanding type of tone as if I did something wrong and I replied "oh yes I'm buying all of these I have five kids and I'm trying to make sure I have what everyone is wanting is all, but yes I am definitely buying them." He replied in a very demanding tone and said "I want you to put those bags on our counter up here so we can see what's going on!" I immediately said "oh yeah no problem" and did just that but I was so taken back by his tone and didn't understand why he was so rude. Two customers came in while I was there to pick up orders could you imagine me laying out the bags of candy into piles and trying to make sure with my daughter that this kids pile is right and just figuring it all out while someone is standing there waiting for their pizza that would have been rude of me which is why I chose to use the first table right there. Nobody was in the lobby sitting down. I immediately took the bags to the counter when he asked and I wasn't even done I was going to get more but he was so rude by the time I got to the counter he was already in the back again. I told the young gentleman "I'm sorry about that" to which he replied "your ok" but I don't even know what I was apologizing for. I was so shocked that the older man talked to me like that and upset by his comment "so we can see what's going on!" I don't understand what he was trying to imply exactly. Here I thought I was supporting a small business and that I would be an appreciated customer but I was definitely not treated like they appreciated my business and instead came out to to tell my kids and husband that it may very well be the last time we give them any of our hard earned money. I was treated terrible. I would love to hear back from the owner about this. Not how I would think a small business would treat a loyal customer. Very upset and disappointed in my experience there tonight.
