I always receive a helpful, quality service from Village Pharmacy. I was in a rush to pick up my latest prescription and the staff member serving on the till went above and beyond to ensure I received my prescription with just a couples of minutes to spare! Thank you so much, this was very much appreciated!
I can't rate this pharmacy enough! From first contact via the chat service up until the moment I walked out of the pharmacy was amazing service.
As someone with anxieties around using a phone the chat service turns something very stressful into a breeze.
All the staff members were very friendly but at the same time very professional. My prescription that I had previously ordered via the doctor was also ready (separately to the enquiry I had today) which was fantastic. This meant I didn't have to make extra trips.
When I was in the pharmacy I noticed that any queue that formed was dealt with quickly so people weren't having to wait a long time for things.
I also had a follow up message to check that everything had been sorted too.
I usually get my prescription done online so I don't usually go in to a physical pharmacy but I wouldn't have any concerns doing this here from now on.
Just a huge thank you for being inclusive to everyone it really makes such a huge difference!
If I could give this place more stars, I would. I had emergency bowel surgery three weeks ago. The aftercare at Russell's Hall was terrible and non existent. I still had severe dehydration and diarrhoea, when I was discharged from hospital. They didn't provide me with rehydration tablets when I was discharged, nor sensible dietary advice for the diarrhoea. I rang the hospital and 111 for advice but their answer was to go back via A&E!!! The care in the hospital was dire, I wasn't going back to Russell's Hall.
I rang The Village Pharmacy and spoke to Anjum. He helped me where Russell's Hall Hospital and 111 completely failed me. He suggested ORS tablets for rehydration and gave excellent me dietary advice. He suggested to avoid all dairy and spicy food, anything that can irritate the digestive system. That tip helped me so much and helped with the diarrhoea, it didn't go away but it definitely eased. Thank you Anjum. The ORS tablets were a godsend, and cheaper than diarolyte.
If Anjum hadn't helped me, I would have struggled and definitely got in complications with the dehydration, which could be dangerous. Anjum helped me during a time of desperation. Russell's Hall told me to eat normal food, how vague is that? It's no help at all.
This is the best pharmacy I have ever had dealings with. The staff are super polite and helpful and they can never do enough for you! Anjum offered a home delivery for the ORS tablets. I declined as my partner can collect it. They're busy enough . Nice offer and we really appreciate it. Summerhill Surgery staff are always giving us glowing reviews for The Village Pharmacy, and they deserve it! We are extremely privileged to have an excellent pharmacist looking after us.
The pharmacist Anjum Raza is a wonderful person to deal with as are his staff. I have nothing but praise and thanks towards them from my visit today ????
Went there to have a 24hr blood pressure monitor put on that my GP Surgery had requested.
Gave us half a prescription for our son. Was told to come back the following week for the other half. They have not got it in stock despite telling us to come today. Because of this incompetence my son will have to start the whole prescription again due to missing 2 doses. Unapologetic despite blame laying with them.
I couldn’t recommend this pharmacy enough. I am extremely lucky that I have Anjum as my pharmacist. He goes above and beyond every single time to make sure I have medication on time. Anjum has taken the time to get to know my medical history to where he has delivered medication late at night knowing how important it was. The delivery service is also very handy if I’m unable to get someone to pick my medication up on time. A extremely friendly, caring and respectful pharmacy. To know we are helping a local business also makes us happy. We don’t have the words to say how thankful we are for looking after me through a really difficult time for us all. We trust Anjum’s friendly and accurate advice every single time also. Not many pharmacists delivers in person a Christmas card. Thank you! Kerry & Sarah xx
Second happy visit here today after recent local move . Anjum is a pleasure to deal with for any minor ailment not requiring a g.p.
