Got take out, cheesesteak and fried chicken. Both were fantastic. Baked apple side was delicious as well. Mac and cheese was just okay. Will definitely eat here again.
Small out of the way place, we just had to stop and boy was I hungry. I had the open face roast beef sandwich and it was great, not to mention some of the best Cole slaw I have had in years. My girlfriend had a burger and she was not disappointed either. We will definitely be back.
The shrimp salad I had earlier today was the best I've ever had. The server was wonderful (wish I got her name) and I hope she got my tip. I don't usually leave it on the table anymore. I really enjoyed this little place.

Excellent restaurant with exceptional service! We visited for the first time May 2022 because of all the good things we have heard about the food and it beyond what you read in reviews. We ordered the steamed clam as a appetizer and the fried chicken dinner with Mac and cheese,coleslaw,mashed taters and it was all delicious like what your mama use to make! There were three waitress there and all stopped by to see if we needed anything and how we were doing and it wasn't like some restaurants trying to rush you for the table, it was a very friendly experience "it was like we were family"! It's a small restaurant with limited seating and I'm sure the girls get very busy so be patient and you will not be disappointed. We will be regulars so we can try the rest of the menu. If we cannot eat in they do offer carryout. Maybe in the future and if it's allowed they could put some picnic tables outside for extra dining but if not I'll wait however long it takes because it worth it!!! Thankyou guy's for a excellent meal and we look forward to our next visit!
This is just a good local country Tavern. Family type operation. They cook good regular food without all the glitz and pretense. Beer is cheap and comes in a can or bottle since COVID. But they are good people. Local patrons are friendly as all get out. Just remember to close the door as you go in and out.
