Best KPortal Reviews
A great little restaurant with good home style food! Locally owned and conveniently located on Hwy 57. The Sunday buffet is awesome! Full salad bar, 3 delicious entrees, 3-4 sides, rolls and if you still have room...a variety of desserts to choose from!
Hands down, the best breaded tenderloin of my life. And, many have come before. Everything else was stellar, as well. Staff were welcoming and attentive. Decor may be a bit on the kitschy side. But, it’s super clean and comfortable.
Will be visiting again soon. I’ll make certain of it.
Fried Chicken is fantastic! This place has been here for a long time. Not sure how long, but the decor suggests quite awhile! Plenty of tables, I suspect the parking lot (pretty large) would fill faster than the restaurant. Waitstaff was pleasant, kept plates removed and drinks filled. The buffet had a salad bar, fried chicken, pork chops, Mashed Potatoes, rolls, green beans, carrots and dessert. Visited on a Sunday. If you leave here hungry it's your own fault. The fried chicken was the standout for me.
If passing through check this place out. Restaurant was super clean.
This is one of those hidden Gems in the country. It's been there for over 50 years, but the current owners are about 2 years. Good food. Great service. I'm sure they'll get the inside updated as they can.
We came here on Easter weekend as they had a special Easter event, but it was very mismanaged.
They had two hour windows to eat, but the buffet is set up in a cramped corner of the resteraunt, and the line was so long we only had enough time to get through the buffet line one time and eat before we had to get out for the next 2 hour group. We also never got refills for our drinks and it was a little dated inside.
Most buffets have it placed so you can use both sides of the table instead of against a wall, at the very least the salad bar should be on the other side of the resteraunt which would help split the line up some so that way people can get salad and desert without having to stand behind a bunch of people getting their main dish.
It's similar price to other buffets but the selection is much smaller. Would be better if it was a few $$$ cheaper, but understand it's in an awkward spot so they have to make money somehow.
Might try to come back again.
Watch out for deer head falling off the wall and hitting you yes it happened to me my first time eating there I was sore for 2 days from it.no one that worked there asked me if I was okay for awhile and yes I had to pay for my meal.food wasn't very hot call it warm.
Our family met here for our Anju6al Thanksgiving gathering. The food was wonderful and so was the staff. The atmosphere was warm and comforting, just like being at home.
Some of the best fried pork chops and fried chicken I've ever eaten! Buffet style. Cost is around $14 per person plus drink. Still using Betty's recipe too because it's awesome!
